It was hard to fathom how a rider who had hardly ridden over the last 2 seasons was going to be a suitable replacement for the clubs no1,it was a gamble but it failed miserably IMO .
I find it strange that anybody can be a weak World Champ over a GP season,is that not what the system was introduced for to find the most consistent rider over the season, unlike The Pole who beat Ivan Mauger to win the Champoinship probably the only big meeting he ever won and Ivan had to fall to give him that win.
To be fair The Gap has done a fair job since he arrived.Wilson-dean was crap at Ashfield a couple of weeks ago but think their Heat Leaders will do ok.Tungate in good form.
Away win on the cards IMO ,interesting to see how Jake Allen and Bradley Wilson-Dean get on,Somerset might be jaded after a busy week-end with any luck.
Gutted for you,but now you have got the hang of it I'm sure there are plenty more fish in the sea.I would worry more about the Panthers though given that performance.
This is becoming a problem in the sport, gate 4 rider cut across gets pushed off and gets in the rerun. They really need to start excluding the rider who they think caused the race to be re run.
I fail to see how a 54-36 defeat was a good effort from the Team against a Team below us in the league .Still consistency has never been our strong point.(taken from match report on Bandits Website).
