I agree we have get GB back on a even keel even if it does mean lowering the standard of riders that want to commit to GB as their source of income.Leagues with the same riders every week,no blank nights because riders at not avialable,regular speedway night is a priority IMO .Imo there are enough riders avialable if you use NL and newcomers coming into the sport.When the original NL was formed it was make up of unknowns with few "0ld hands" and produced many of the great riders of the 70's& 80's.We have to take a step back to go forward again.!

That was my impression ,in the leagues he can always pick off a couple of riders most races.

IMO the PL needs to promote riders from NL route don't get caught up in paying riders trying to prolong their career and supplement their earnings .The crowds don't justify it IMO .Pay young riders a realistic pay rate the entertainment will be as good if not better.At least they will be avialable for meetings not riding abroad.

As long as they don't pay them over the odds these guys are just looking for easy pickings,Batchelor has not tried leg this season just to manipulate his average.

I am not aPeterborough fan ,if you read my previous posts I have no sympathy for their situation,my point was referring to Cresent Girl saying you should just turn up to watch a match as long as there are 2 sets of riders .Why bother with leagues then,Promotions wonder why attendances are declining it's pretty obvious that this is one of the reasons.

No doubting about the quality of the meeting,so just run challenge fixtures every week against another 7 riders who can make it on the night .Its doesn't really matter according to you.!! Peterborough maybe had the right idea after all.Why bother with leagues and Cups.

I don't quite understand what you're saying ,are you just saying that Betwick don't have to declare their intention to run next year by the AGM,because it is being sold as as a going concern.Anderson's have stated they have finished with the speedway so if nobody buys it what happens.I assume it closes. So are you just saying it has longer to find a new owner?

Peterborough don't have an argument think they were offered Edinburgh date but did not have riders avialable which is their problem! they signed the riders.
