The sport is just a mess regarding guests and R/R.Clubs should not sign riders who can't commit to their fixtures,if every club done this it would solve a few problems.Clubs don't want to ride rearranged matches because of missing riders we'll get rid of these guys and use young talent instead ,might also be more entertaining than watching some older riders just earning a living out of the sport.

agree that was a great meeting some spectacular action.Woffy still doesn't mix it much,solid and safe but will that do at GP level.

Wonder how much of the Promoters money Chris earned last night,doubt it was nothing for scoring nothing though.

Wrocrow are using the rule to their advantage declaring Fricke at No 8 where he can ride anywhere they want in the meeting.Drozdz will suffer the most from this.

Howe needs to find some form IMO ,5 of his 7 points were virtual gifts after Ostergaurd fell and Newman had start infringement.

Illy took a heavy fall ,clipped the fence coming out 4th and got thrown down hard onto track, walked into ambulance though.The 2 Berwick riders deserve a mention done well to avoid the fallen rider.

Think the lack of regular weekly speedway will come back to bite the Clubs,sad IMO

Newman was disappointing .Morley impressive.Also I thought the junior match was better entertainment some good talent on show.

We will just have to wait and see the "interpretation" of the rule book as usual and what Promotions ate involved.

That weakens Lakeside IMO ,but will add to entertainment value.

That is what I am saying is it not,with their expieriance the track should not be the problem however it is prepared.i don't think Newcastle are front runners this year so we better be " on the ball" when some of the others come visiting.

While I agree,the riders nowadays seem to make excuses for their inability to work out what track conditions are before the meeting starts.Ok it was different from the week before but the Newcastle riders manage to figure it out before the meeting started.The people preparing the track should be able to tell he home riders what track conditions are on a weekly basis( even if they are different from previous week),experienced riders like Berwick have should have very little difficulty IMO..

The season is barely a month old and were into the same sh#t as last year regarding fixtures and guests.No wonder the sport is in decline as usual the AGM solve nothing ,it's just a p#ss up at the end of every season .

It shows the standard of tuning and quality of speedway engines,They just rip off the riders IMO.

They waste a lot of money on new equipment IMO .
