  1. While it is commendable what Berwick do regarding covering the track the point is if it raining when the meeting is about to start it is just about certain these days that the riders will do everything they can NOT to ride IMO .This has been proven many times in recent seasons, there is no meetings run in wet conditions nowadays.
  2. Bjerre will love all the room he has round at track like BV he is very fast when in the mood a snip at that average.Plus the league is lower level than a couple of years ago.
  3. I suspect many fane will be just giving speedway a miss if there is rain on the day of a meeting giving the riders attitude nowadays.
  4. Excellent season review and information on tracks and squads etc
  5. Looks like Seb Alden is fit again, names in a couple of Teams in Sweden.
  6. Is this going to be the fastest built stadium in history,Pratt says he hopes to be racing in it in late July.
  7. You have been very unlucky on your visits.Have been a few times and never seen a bad meeting.
  8. Newman injury weakens Witches IMO ,will be pleasantly surprised if Bandits win on aggregate.Pity tie has to be played so early in season before Teams get into their stride but it is the same for both Teams.
  9. Burger and Pies were amazing, believe he no longer is doing the catering,R Grant Jnr is now doing it.
  10. Just let the start go even if someone gets a flyer as long as they don't touch the tapes, but amend the the rules that the rider is disqualified and does not get in the re-run that will soon sort itself out when the riders start losing money! I you go back to the days when they were pushing the tapes etc it really did not make much difference because unless the tapes were broken there was no re-runs there was some good racing when a lesser riders made a start .Nowadays though if you make start it virtually means you will be hard to catch which is the downside of my point.
  11. While I sympathise with your situation ,I think it's obvious the problem appears to be at your end or there would be A lot more complaints of late delivery in various regions .
  12. Is that to go along with 50,000 roofed Stadium to contain future crowds at Speedway.
  13. People need to learn to drive on the right side of the road, that is not the speedways problem .There is not 2 lanes leaving the stadium,it is a single carriageway .
  14. Likewise, supermarket diesel is not for me.
  15. You could always subscribe to the online version if you like reading it that way.Just a thought !
  16. He doesn't drive the Post Van or I am sure he would deliver the SS first!!!!!!
  17. Someone with more knowledge than myself on this subject might know the right facts, but I was told a few years ago that the land in question had some type of soil contamination from previous industrial use that would have to be rectified before housing could be considered.Anyway does it really matter because the Tigers supporters have now got a cracking facility for speedway.
  18. Ive heard they own a fair bit of the land roundabout the stadium if they want to build houses.Although it was previously an Industrial site and might cause some problems regarding housing.
