Do you not think a lot of riders are just "looking after themselves" as they are riding 2/3 times a week in various Countries a picking up steady earnings .Not risking too much in case of injury.
Think Nicki is on the slide, still OK in Sec and Leagues last season but struggled in GP 's and the Gp's is up a notch this season.Plus he has had a few bad injuries in his career which might be also catching up with him.If he is struggling with set- ups this late in his career he is in trouble IMO .Young guns are not going to be intimidated by him nowadays as it was before.
I find it interesting the Perks says in SS that he hopes to ride 1 meeting for Buxton say as they can get a facility for him.Thats not in the best interests surely.
Lets face the younger riders nowadays can't ride anything else but a slick track ,not enough ambulances in attendance for dirt on track.Plus curfew times.
Barker seems to be upsetting someone in every meeting nowadays. He has always been a bit of a hard rider, don't like him Personaly but he provides entertainment.
I couldn't care a monkeys what happens with this, but what you don't seem to understand is the BSPA have the power to change this rule in the "best interests of the sport" and that is all most people are saying. The rules are a joke .Even the rule regarding Liam to Birmingham can be question and interpretated differently but obviously it has been sanctioned. Most fans are not getting at the Club but the way the BSPA can open up a can of worms.Berwick simply applied the rule as they saw it,which we think has been ratified as the Promotion announced it .
I disagree ,you have to give young riders a chance not many riders become superstars overnight, better than some 2nd rate foreigners we have seen ,at least the youngsters are putting abit of effort into it.Averages have a lot to account for IMO .
