Agree Buxton are the one Team who have treated the League in the spirit it was set up,to develope young talent .Others are paying over the odds for success.
It's farcical in what is meant to be a professional run sport, that every season discussions are always the same ,the rule book and its interpretation and anomalies in the " best interest of the sport".
Most clubs are paying more than they can afford just now so nothing different might bring them to there senses, the riders might also get a fright .Birmingham,Eastbourne,Lakeside Cradley paying silly money to junior riders.
Just scrap the averages ,problems solved All over the country.Like I said previously some Promoters get away with rule bending others don't .Nothing changes.(all in the interests of the sport obviously )
Actualy I was surprised we brought him back in the first instance.its hard to believe the track was the only problem it's was better this season and he was doing Ok.Still onward and upward as they say!
I think the big mistake was to fallout with Vissing he would have been the 3rdheat leader/ 2nd string when we brought in Morris ,that kept middle order solid.Berge and Carr should have went .But that's history now.
Think Paulco and Willie are secret agents sponsored by the Breweries to go round the country make friends and drag them to the bars to keep profits up.
Will there be any changes giving Havvy's glowing reports on how we are doing,at most I can see only 1 change being possible, that would make any difference. You also need a rider who is going to improve his average to make any real difference, seasons over for me as far as top 4 is concerned.Improved home results will be the main target.
Bridger won run off ,think change of machinery will make a big difference to his scoring he certainly doesn't lack skill on what we have seen at Shielfield.
I agree with what you say regarding British rider and R/r but would every promotion be treated the same way regarding wording of rules some how I doubt when looking at some things that have happened in the past.Only in Speedway.
Like I say it's all all about interpretation as with a lot of rules in speedway and also which Promotion is involved.Rule book is a standing joke IMO .
Thats pretty clear, let's see how they get round it if Even IF Carr is dropped by Berwick as it does say provided they are NOT declared in a Championship Team at the START of the season.Interesting !!
