  1. Like Nichols said in the studio Batch should have just rode a steady race for 3 rd if that was the tactic. The joker should be dropped IMO .I pointed out earlier the Latvians and Russians "helped " each other on Tue as well. The Latvian outgated Doyle and did nothing wrong though. They were all very competitive heats.
  2. Another excellent speedway meeting.Russians worthy winners.Holder is really struggling ,not sure but think a change of engine tuner might help, bikes look sluggish even when he gets into good positions .
  3. That seems to be the case nowadays, still if the crowds are flocking in !!
  4. Not just NL .IMO .Trouble is if you put a little shale on it you need a fleet of Ambulances on stand by otherwise meeting ends prematurely with curfew imposed at most tracks.
  5. Have you employed a new scriptwriter this season?
  6. Swedish round :That what speedway is all about if you give the riders a decent track to ride on.British promoters need to take heed , Kings Lynn used to be one of the best tracks in Uk but is now just another one line gaters track like most other tracks in Uk now.Great meeting, does anybody else think thinks here was a bit of team tactics in the last few races ,to me it looked like Swed/Den vLatvia/ Russia. Ps NkI is have a nightmare season.
  7. There's no doubting his talent and effort on the track and his rapport with the fans as for the rest .Well !!!!
  8. Do you really think there would be very little tape touching if the riders think they can roll?
  9. Think there would be a lot of re-runs,and long drawn out meetings.
  10. I noticed that regarding start marshal always checks with ref.
  11. Sad to hear the passing of Geoff a very big part of Berwick Speedway over a great number of years. Will never forget the Bus Tours with Geoff and Jim Louden at helm some great trips and very memorable. Condolences to his family Family and Friends.
  12. Your doing a great job David, espiecially after to knock you took at Berwick. That the trouble with speedway a lot of people think if you replace 6 pt man with a 7 they think he going to score 10. Averages are not a true reflection of how the points are scored as can be seen in both leagues when reserves move into the top 5. and struggle to get a point.Keep up the good work and I hope you are enjoying your racing. That is the point I was making,it might not be the present Promotion who got the money for Bellego depending how the sell out was negotiated.
  13. Dates mean nothing nowadays, riders are all over Europe in a few hours if they really feel like it.Show them the money and they will be there, they might grab a Pizza on the way!!!
  14. Agree regarding Luke Becker, was ok last year, needs to get regular speedway in Europe though.
  15. In general yes,but there are individuals and some riders that own their contract, all I'm asking is who got the money for Bellego and you obviously don't know or you could tell me.That's all.Seb Alden !
  16. He owned quite a few riders contracts over the years if my recollection is right. While that might be the case, individuals can own riders contracts which might require negotiations if clubs change hands.I have I given an example in Wright .
  17. Thats not an answer to the question.Who Actualy got the money then we will know if there is any spare money going about. There are a couple of ex promoters who owned riders contracts while no longer involved in Promoting ,the guy Wright at Sheffield springs to mind.
  18. Where is Berwick going to find money for all these assessed riders, and that's before finding assessed riders that want to come to Berwick on a Sat.If the assessed riders ride to their average we might win but next season we will have to get rid of them due to average,if they don't ride to their average we will still be losing. The sport needs sorting out like we say every year!!!
  19. Thats the outlook of many fans now, trouble is they also pick there meetings to go to and are not regular attenders anymore.
  20. Bet the Tigers management were sweating regarding their 3 heat leaders guesting in the same meeting.
  21. Bit harsh to say we have just given up its the rules that dictate. However don't think this fixture should have been agreed on this date given the SWC dates, only my opinion.
