  1. Everything is very "matter of factly" with Speedway Promotions these days,we're just stopping after 10 Hts or 12 Hts or 14 Hts that's it ,or stand about waiting for Ambulances to turn and curtailed meetings.Fans have just to go home and come back next week and stump up.Its going to come back and bite them on the bum IMO .
  2. As soon as you see a meeting with a lot of false starts you can guess who the ref was!!!
  3. True the PL was doing away nicely before we gave in to EL who were in Sh#t.
  4. True, but that's not how it happens in real life these days,it's naive to think the ref would overrule the riders these days.Health and Safety is the "buzz "word.
  5. Don't know about track covers! Looks like it's covered STADIUMS is the only way to gaurantee 15 Hts these days, even then the riders would probably find something wrong with the track!!!! This highlights why many Promotions don't bother with track covers, because unless the weather is 100% gaurenteed to clear up the meeting might not go ahead anyway. The fans are certainly being "short changed " too easily these days.
  6. your a 4 man team away from home that is the main problem IMO .Eric is a class act though, begin to show his potential.
  7. Cook is far to inconsistent,he should be cleaning up in GB if he is as good as some people make out.
  8. Sorting out Woffy v Rosco is trivial as opposed to sorting out British Speedway in General.Concentrate on that and we won't need any of them.
  9. It would be good for the conspiracy theorists if you could tell when Lewis is due back.
  10. If Belle Vue was before Cardiff it would no doubt sell out,and given the standard of racing at NSS it might attract more fans to Cardiff. You just can't tell,I personally would love to see aSGP at Belle Vue.
  11. How many teams will complete their fixtures before cut off date ,very poor planning clubs need a home fixture weekly to keep continuity,or fans will just get out of the habit.BSPA have to take the blame with all their rules regarding teams and riders.
  12. Your right Bandits do look stronger at reserve ,unfortunately the Top 5 look weaker IMO
  13. Nothing on the Berwick website regarding this match, very poor PR.
  14. I don't think think there can be that much difference in the machinery they weren't smashing track records every race, just think they are better riders with different attitudes to where they want to be in in the sport.British riders will find it hard to break into the sport in Poland because the older riders are not good enough. Its a catch 22 for them, Cook has already said before that he can't afford Poland and nothing has changed,he earns good money in GB though.Very difficult for him in this situation,he has improved over the last couple of seasons but how does he get recognised if he is going to be inconsistent at Top Level everyone knows one bad meeting and your dropped. No easy answers IMO .I still think Lambert is a talent and will break through. He is showing up well in lower Polish division.
  15. Good signing, has been impressive in Poland this season when I have seen him.
  16. Have to agree Sam doesn't give much room for opposition any time I have watch him, including team mates.
  17. If it doesn't happen, there will be parts to pick up from a scrapyard if we believe it is lying somewhere just to be bolted together.
  18. Best Speedway museum in the World IMO .
  19. Thatsfine ,I was only making a genuine suggestion.I don't have a clue why he is missing.
  20. He will do well to get 7 pts this time with latest GP line up.Wish him well though.Cardiff throws up unpredictable results though.
  21. Great to see the Jye scoring good points, seems to continue improving every meeting despite taking a few knocks.
