I agree,if there was a will to co- operate among Promoters,unfortunately can't see that ever happening.The one that doesn't get his way at the Conference just threatens to go away in the huff.

Think that is a part of the problem a reserve in Championship thinks he should demand the pay of full time rider these days and the crowds are smaller.

Think it was a good article covering the topics that need remedied,but finding the answers is the hardest part.Personaly think they will concentrate on Top League which is not the answer to help revive the sport in this country.We as fans will just have to sit back as see what they come up with.

Dont think the result will hinge on Rory not getting an extra ride.Happy to be prove wrong though

The BSPA don't listen or learn it would appear.To many "fly by night characters" IMO . That sums it up well for a lot of supporters,espiecially the John Campbell statement.(how wrong he is).I won't go near a meeting if there is a cloud in the sky these days.

Your correct at the end of the day it is just 4 guys racing round an oval,but the crowds are dropping off for different reasons and the powers at be don't seem to a be able to find a solution .The results as aTeam sport are meaningless nowadays.Keep enjoying that's the main thing.

Most tracks have a set race night as things stand,it's the crazy rules and fixture list that has caused the trouble.

I think the crowds are lower at a significant number of tracks and how many tracks can say over a season that their crowds have increased( not many I fear) we don't get attendance figures for various reason IMO .While we have all got many gripes ,too me one of the the biggest failing is the fixture list,we need to have regular once a week meetings or people drift away.

Dont know much about visas and stuff,but I would say the majority are not at the required standard for these Countries when they first come overs do would not get aTeam place based on Aussie form.

No need to ban anyone from Britain as long as they sign a contract saying GB is their priority that season,then we know where we stand,if they want to earn aboard just tell the to go and make a living there.Some riders want their cake and eat it.

I think the social side of the evening is probably the main reason a lot of fans still attend.

Its not automatically his demands rockets,they don't have to pay over the odds it's just the way Promoters run their businesses in GB.Tell them where to go and pay money they can afford. It won't alter the entertainment factor.I agree averages are killing the sport in more ways than one.

It's a bit rich from Doyle to say there are dangerous riders over here,the number of crashes he has caused in his career .

Simple fact is there will be no fans to pay riders enough to make ends meet in current situation.Bspa will do anything to keep Top flight and sod the rest.

Im not getting involved with you and Speedibee personal spats,but I do agree with him on the rest of his post,riders are killing the sport with their demands which we can't afford as it is ruining the sport in UK.they need to make up their minds where they want to earn their living.

Sorry to quote my own post,but after reading about Cook,I think it could come true.

Nobody want to see any club close,but you have to ask what was Rathbone thinking when he done this,he must have known the consequences,this is what happens when supporters with money takes over clubs,it has happened at other clubs.

Need independent people to run the sport,here's Cook saying I help you out if I get a good deal,bunch of crooks the lot of them.

Maybe Workington should give it a try instead of you mocking it.
