Same scenario at Armadale, riders just can't adapt even though they have been coming for years. -
Ive seen a few "alleged" assaults at meetings over the years that have come to nothing.Thats speedway.( I'm not a Cook fan)
-
Looks like it was just an " alleged" assault.

British contracts have to be stronger,if they want to ride abroad fair enough but don't let them top up their wages here, they are not that important.
-
Admittedly fans are not experts on track, but the sport is dirt track racing and it is bewildering nowadays all the reasons that riders come up with regarding track conditions ,we have seen them all over a number of years, rough ,smooth, dusty, wet, rain. There is a new condition now,PERFECT. In all other types of Bikesport and Motersport the competitors take the conditions into consideration and perform according to said conditions.Thats the problem with Speedway they want to go home mainly because they know the fixture will be re-run so no loss of income.Perhaps if results were awarded if the did not want to ride and they got a nominal payment for turning up attitudes would change or alternatively a 9-5 job and stop wasting fans time.

Give the Team manager a bit of leeway and thinking.I don't know all the rules but it certainly keeps it interesting.Like has been mention it gives the crowd a buzz when the " lesser rider " beats the tactical.
-
Thanks I did not know the rules ,but it certainly seemed better, and even in the Tac rides the sub got beat except for Lindgren who was superb.
-
If this was NL match they probably would not have even graded the track, the riders would just have got on with it.Its only when you think you are superstar and earning big money that speedway becomes a dangerous sport. There are a lot of riders that need to find a 9-5 job.Every supporter has witnessed riders standing about complaining at least once a season at their track and wondered why they bother turning up.Its a shambles nowadays, the refs are scared to overrule the riders in case they end up in court.

Watching the Swedish play off from last night their rules regarding Tacticals seems very good Dackarna used 3 and it wS a close result but none of this double points nonsense. Janowski & Dudek only got 3rd places though in their rides.

Smolinski And Pussies

Agree, notice in Poland the ref excluded rider even though other rider didn't fall.Imo Smolinski was a little late with his move and gave Pawlicki nowhere to go and the ref got it right, but there are some pretty hard moves going on in GP's these days.Silly comment to ale though. -
I think there is a fair number of fans that attend regular are feeling the same way regarding the sport in general, and we can see by the debates on this forum there is not an easy solution. Its along way back for the sport to raise attendance levels at a number of clubs IMO. Which is sad.

I attend regular .

I also think that a lot of riders are on a gaurentees + bonus, espiecially double up/down guys.Could be wrong though! We will never know.Is there a published minimum pay rate for riders through the BSPA .
