  1. Trouble with Landshut is the track is not in Landshut itself is in a small village in the middle of nowhere about. 4/5 miles away with no train service and little bus service which returns to Landshut after the last train has left for Munich( as I found out).Lovely town though.
  2. Doyle in the semi, the race did not get pulled back though or it would have been a 2nd time for him.like I say not consistent.
  3. Doyle got to anticipate the start but Janowski got excluded .Not consistent.
  4. Interesting Zager praising PJR for his engines when others are deserting him, proves it more about set-ups.
  5. Complete farce just toss a coin and save the travelling for guest riders.
  6. While some may be stirring others are just asking why he was he was giving permission to miss the meeting,is this going to the norm excuse,to save any trouble ?
  7. Harris is already in the Top 8 from this years Longtrack GP therefore has Already qualified before today !!
  8. Harris has qualified for next years Longtrack,is that what you mean?
  9. Round about 2007/8 speaking to a rider who rode in what is now Championship as aHeat Leader and as a reserve in Elite League told me he was paid £80 a point and guarantee of 3pts scored in Elite League. He was on a sliding scale in Championship.
  10. Whilst I agree with your point,to be fair the riders weren't having major issues getting round the track held up well. The spectacle for the spectators was ruined though.
  11. Dont know, but think you might get a shock if somebody did tell.
  12. Like all professions some are good at their job work harder and longer hours and make more money. Its simple really if your not making enough money out the sport stop doing it.To much emphasis on the riders nowadays. There will be others come along and do the job IMO .
  13. Speedway is a sport ,if you can earn some extra money by being good at it fair enough,if not find a 9-5 job. There are not many Promoters raking in a fortune for running the sport. Most are men with money which the are willing to throw away till it runs out then depart the sport.I do appreciate their efforts to keep the sport alive but they have to stop paying out money they can't afford and cut their cloth accordingly and stay in the sport long term. These riders in Britain would be off like a shot if they though they could get better money abroad for their talent, but they ain't good enough so they are fleecing GB for what they can.
  14. A lot of people are saying the same thing, the riders have to be told take it or leave it.The show will go on.Ps Not a lot would leave it IMO .
  15. I agree,if there was a will to co- operate among Promoters, unfortunately can't see that ever happening. The one that doesn't get his way at the Conference just threatens to go away in the huff.
  16. Think that is a part of the problem a reserve in Championship thinks he should demand the pay of full time rider these days and the crowds are smaller.
  17. Think it was a good article covering the topics that need remedied, but finding the answers is the hardest part.Personaly think they will concentrate on Top League which is not the answer to help revive the sport in this country. We as fans will just have to sit back as see what they come up with.
  18. Dont think the result will hinge on Rory not getting an extra ride.Happy to be prove wrong though
  19. Your right,it's frustration of things getting worse in a lot of posters mind.I think they have a point .
  20. The BSPA don't listen or learn it would appear. To many "fly by night characters" IMO . That sums it up well for a lot of supporters, espiecially the John Campbell statement.(how wrong he is).I won't go near a meeting if there is a cloud in the sky these days.
