I thought these were Championship Shield matches at the week-end,was the Tyne/ Tweed trophy incorporated in them.

It’s pretty pathetic the the people in charge don’t seem to know the new rule.

One thing I would like to see is the clock introduction with the 2 minute countdown.Riders over here do not obey the starting marshal a lot of times when he is trying to get them to come up to the tapes which keeps the other riders waiting.In Poland the riders watch the clock and move in the last5- 10 seconds and the start marshal really only has to nod to the Ref and walk away.Cutting out all the shuffling back and forward nonsense that we get here.

This rule they are introducing just brings it in line with the starting procedure already being used in Poland and GPS .It just a case of riders getting used to it IMO.Its meant to stop the green light/ go situation. Riders won’t be happy but it works elsewhere so what’s the problem.

Strange move Imo,surely List is a better long term,Ayers is pretty harum sacrum and usually gets an injury.

Ok point taken,I will rephrase my thoughts,most bigger tracks,he doesn’t go as fast as the other riders.

Max has his “Berwick Head” on at most fast tracks.IMO.

While I agree regarding Berwick, it’s appears from what your are saying that the Brough track is now just a drag race to the first bend too.Its the tracks that need sorting out IMO.

Think if NBJ can perform away from home we will be “dark horses” very early days though.

Agree,it’s all about set-ups they tell you,and most of them have been riding for years and still can’t work it out. They just need to get on with it IMO. Congrats to Berwick Team manager last night,used his key man to full advantage- 7 rides,and it paid off.

You couldn’t make it up,this sport has not got a clue how to govern itself. You see the rules flouted every season with the referees unable to interpretate them in the same way as the rule makers.

Casual Fans from Edinburgh and surrounding area would be put off with weather conditions very wet and damp ALLDAY and very misty,driving conditions were poor IMO.Still poor this morning.

Like you say Jordan Stewart was I bit hit or miss last season,but he is a talent and has a great style given luck he will be star IMO
