  1. racing incident for me ,see it every GP.Bjerre never got to the corner in front.
  2. Belle Vue can claim decisions and bad luck that went against then, but when you look at Cook and Tungate 's performance at Monmore that's what cost them IMO .
  3. Hiding to nothing if he doesn't perform being former Ipswich man.Sure he will though.
  4. That was the idea, before some clubs started to treat As Professional and payed over the odds rate.Riders like Roynan,Hall,Clegg to name a few are certainly not riding for standard rates( whatever they may be)
  5. Your forgetting about the "interpretation" though!!! That catches most folk out.!!
  6. Needs to give R Lambert a phone for advice,he seems to know how to play the system
  7. Thats just down to luck or bad luck in some cases,Speedway is a dangerous sport. If track conditions and you override you crash,if track conditions are tricky you overide you crash! What's the difference.Throttle control and Skill IMO .
  8. Only my opinion,I have witnessed same type of track conditions at several tracks over my years of attending speedway.Riders have adjust and get on with it.
  9. In general riders were getting round Ok.,track wasn't that bad IMO .
  10. While Tungate has ability he was liability on Monday, watch his races he was like junior IMO ,he should have no excuses with the years he has been riding.
  11. Have to agree some modern day riders just don't have the throttle control to adjust to tight tracks and conditions.Machinary changes don't help, but with the right set ups they should be able to adapt.e.gFricke had it Sussed by the end of the meeting.Tungate hadn't a clue all night if you watch the Video, the bike was just taking him all over the place.Nothing wrong with Monmore IMO .
  12. Riders get injured at every track in the league.! + afew lucky escapes at most tracks. Are you for real or just Sh#t stirring.
  13. Wonder what would happen if Jack Holder didn't try a leg for his Polish Club.Wasnt interested IMO .
  14. This must be a record year for meetings being abandoned before 15 heats have been completed, its become routine nowadays and they wonder where the fans are going.!
  15. Isn't it strange the hell of a rush and agreement to run fixtures now when all season long it can't be done, pathetic. The season doesn't end till last day in October!!!! Just a load of meaningless fixtures left for clubs.Self interest rules again IMO.
  16. Dan of the hook as tonight's match is off,so we will never know is he was really going to ride tonight.
  17. God, they have been racing atMonmore for afew decades and somebody decides the track is dangerous!!! Rubbish. Perhaps the people running the sport could sort out the machinery problems that are hindering the sport in GB.Ps The throttle works both ways.Riding skills are required though.
  18. On a lucky night you can win aGP with 7 pts as Zager proved,so don't think that is the answer. All I am really saying why say Top 8 for next year if you are not using these rules.Top 10 and the rest via the Challenge ,more top riders would use the challenge as a safeguard so you should get quality GP riders through. Ive you have a bad SEASON such as Holder has you don't deserve a place if you don't make Top 8 IMO .There are plenty riders waiting for a chance.Only in Speedway can you have so many anomalies .
  19. Its just way the sport is run these that causes most of the troubleIMO.Bewley is some talent hope it is not wasted.
  20. Glasgow have already stated that the Speedway has to pay for itself ,they modernised the Stadium but will not throw money at the sport.Crowds have to sustain the sport.
  21. So it's all right for riders to pick and choose meetings the want to ride in,after signing to ride for these Teams at start of season, perhaps he should be given 7 days rest by the powers at BSPA for missing a meeting.
