Monarchs done well considering the Howarth situation ,but you had the feeling Tigers were going to edge it. Lawson is waste of space IMO.Coles put in a lot of effort for little reward, and Ricky is just not performing as aNo 1 this season.Decent meeting though.

Someone needs to tell whoever is previewing matches that if they release it on the website on a Friday( which they have for the last couple of weeks ) they have to stop saying the match is tonight as it could bring some confusion to readers.I know it was not realised till after 8 but it is not very professional and newcomers will think they have missed the meeting.IMO The headline has the correct days ,but the write- up is confusing.

What I would like to know is after 20 years riding in the UK how many set-ups do you have to have regarding the weather.Surely he has had all the situations by now.

Many fans from different Clubs have the same views regarding the problems they see within the sport.Whether you think they are negative or not ,they are voting with there feet.Formula1 and MotoGP obviously doesn’t have exactly the same problems as speedway as it is a different sport and has not had the decline in attendances the Speedway has had.Even the most diehard and loyal fans are concerned the way the sport has declined in recent seasons.The fact that Matt Ford is now advocating that 1 league could be the answer to some of the problems tells you a lot.Many fans have been saying that for years now.Its obvious that Promoters can’t keep paying riders wages that are unaffordable given crowd levels unless they can attract serious Sponsorship which is very thin on the ground these days .The sport has lost a lot of credibility IMO,which doesn’t help.The entertainment factor also comes in the equation, which is different at various tracks.

It’s all about interpretation in speedway, you should know that
