What I don't understand is if BSPA and ACU control British speedway,how can he be eligible in 1 league but not the other. .I know there are different Tiers regarding employment but surely his paperwork would cover these situations and he would be told what the position is regarding his application at the same time .Strange IMO .

Coming from you that's a bit of a cheek IMO .Previous years there's has been clearer notices.Maybe an oversight!.We are just " forum fannies" according to you and other's connected with club.

Another thing needs pointed out is that anybody can enter through the " consessions gate "at speedway" it appears to me the it is only relevant to football.If this correct perhaps they need another sign up.

I think we can all agree the Promoters are in a no win situation regarding the weather.

Agree,the Promoters do what they think is best for their situation,but nowadays the riders don't want to ride if the track is wet and fans turning up with rain or rain sodden track normally have to hang about while "discussions are going on with REF" and that usually results in no racing 9 times out of 10 these days,hence fans reluctant to make effort ( only my opinion)and contributes to below average crowds when this happens.

Technology is ruining the sport,and I agree that nowadays fans are going to look at the weather and a dodgy forecast means why bother,it never used to be like that.Riders just don't fancy wet meetings,they know that the meeting will be re- arranged anyway.

Hotel prices in Central Edinburgh at that time of year are extortionate.

Hotel prices in Edinburgh are high,would think Glasgow would be cheaper.Will leave Ashfield to Queen Street to someone who knows better than me its not far though Mayebe £8- £10 taxi fare.

Being from the East I would suggest staying in Glasgow on the Friday after speedway,as you would take while to get back to Edinburgh on public transport.Bus and train required just to get back to Edinburgh not taking into account where you are staying in Edinburgh.Good 2 hrs travelling at least IMO .

Think this will be a decent meeting with plenty of young talent,Tuesday is a bit of a bummer though for a prestige Event.

I agree with you ,one man ,one team but the situation in GB is out of control but the BSPA don't have the bottle to sort the situation out and go back to basics.Until this happens there will be no upturn in the sport in GB.There is no such thing as " your Team to support these days" it's just a bunch of riders " doing the rounds".Its a sad situation for speedway.

Speedway is now a "Team Sport "that the individuals ride for every Team nowadays.Can you really take it serious these days?.

Not many people who follow other bike sports rate Speedway IMO .They wouldn't put up with the crap that our fans put up with.

He certainly knows his stuff regarding other motorcycling sport,and is very good at the commentaries IMO .

Social media can be some riders worst enemy,Sponsers can't be impressed with their comments.
