  1. Best wishes to Dan on a full and speedy recovery, sounds nasty. I can't believe the Lakeside or the rider doesn't know the rules on this one they have been in place for a while,It was even pointed out on this website yesterday morning, while it is not their problem surely Worky knew that Lawson was being replaced by Worrell and should have pointed out the fact that Worrell had ridden there the week before as a guest. (Maybe they did) Poor Management all round IMO.Again no consideration for the fans.
  2. You can't beat being there watching live, the atmosphere makes up for the racing in a lot of cases. There has been some poor racing at Cardiff but the atmosphere help create the illusion of a good meeting on the night.
  3. I'm a Janowski fan but don't know what he was complaining about Nikki done nothing wrong.Smarslik was more ruthless on the back straight more than once. Its just GP racing.
  4. agree, you know nowadays the riders are not going to get changed if the forecast is rain, some don't even like a watered track!.
  5. Harris really is taking the p#ss out of Glasgow.Imo There will be no thought of retirement like he was intimating when making excuses at the middle of the season. How a rider of his expieriance can have so much bike trouble is beyond me.!
  6. They have signed Woffy,Hancock& Cook for next season in NL.Looking for Promotion in 1st season.
  7. Too simple where would you get all the coins!
  8. It's about time the BSPA told riders to make up their mind where their priorities lye, then sort out our leagues with what's left. Its the only way forward as even our young talent will be enticed abroad much quicker in their career.
  9. It really depends on which Barker turns up,he is worth the admission money alone when in the mood and a decent bike.
  10. That would help National Team but will these riders compete in British leagues, think Uk has to take a big step back to go forward again, all these "talented youngsters" that have come to Berwick this season have Disapointed IMO .Bickley,Bacon,Mountain to name a few.Proves were a fair bit behind other Countries.
  11. Remember 63 , top4 to final ,riders protested about last 2 qualifiers as 5 riders had same points and they hadn't raced each other in meeting due to format,Jimmy Squibb led the protest and sat at tapes,so the had a run off to decide last 2 Ross Gilbertson and George Hunter got through.( they were the original finalists before protest ).Ivan had a bit of luck as Hunter bike packed up when leading final.Great meetings though.
  12. Take on board what you are saying, but how many of these youngsters will be riding in British league speedway in the next few years, you can see the young Aussies and other young foreigners bypassing British league Speedway.
  13. Whatever we think of Madsen he certainly can beat anyone on the day and is very consistent in Poland ,I would give him aWildcard for GP if he wanted one.Reminds me of Rine Holta in his prime great gater and very fast in front.
  14. It's a must win for Monarchs if they want to keep play -off place alive IMO .
  15. Berwick and Glasgow certainly do.Their fans fans still enjoy a day out even if the result doesn't go their way
  16. Like Paulco says no one really cares what you call the meeting and who is there nowadays, for most clubs it's a supporters bus trip and a good day out and hope to see a decent speedway meeting.Result is irrelevant .
  17. Should Cook be riding for Workington then, that's who he rode the majority of his matches for.!!
  18. Think its 6 pts down can only be use once ,but not in Heat 8.
  19. Berwick just got on with it,nobody cared because they though we were Cr#p now there's total panic from other clubs trying to get into top 4 before the so called cut off date ( which will be extended to suit no doubt).Ludicrious situation.Imo.
  20. When the RIGHT TEAMS into the top 4 I would imagine.Thats speedway!
