Accept your point, but what is the criteria for running a speedway meeting now.Todays forecast is typical for time of year,I’ve seen a lot worse.

At least it was called off early before the riders saw the track. Re run on 1st sunny day.

Harris prime example ,from supreme entertainer to some one who is only interested when his next meeting is to get some cash in.Wonder if he made any money this season

Weekly Speedway April to September would be a good start at most tracks.The season has become to disjointed .

How many tracks can say crowds are up and Club in profit over a season nowadays.?

Think it says it all that Poole want to run in Championship.

There was something up with Dudek IMO.He took a dramatic slump in form mid-season, he can’t be that bad next season surely.

Zmarzlik,Madsen,Emil,Janowski,Doyle Woffy,Vaculik,Lindgren,Dudek,Fricke. Zager,Laguta,Iversen,Hancock,Lindback.

What a shambles this sport is ,while we all know the weather can cause havoc ,but not as much as riders not being available because they ( the Promoters)have create a scenario that they can ride for every Team in the Leagues.Most of the fixtures problems have been self inflicted.

Berwick gave up on using them this season.

He rode in the meeting ,apart from doing the donuts!

Lambert has a history of doing his “own”thing.No consideration to who pays his wages.

Is the training track at Duns still being used.?

1/2 season Garrity is not the answer.

Subscription is a no brainier ,even if you don’t want it during closed season just do 6 months.Value for money IMO.

Personally I would fear for Edinburgh when the present lease expires.The present Promotion are not getting any younger and would need an influx of new blood to take up the baton.IMO.( they may have this in place though).Financially there won’t be a queue to take over and make losses.

Think if it wasn’t for the enthusiasm of the Promotion and Fans Trust,Monarchs would be long gone.Crowds have dwindled the last few seasons.Credit to them.

The racing at Ashfield this season has been excellent on the meetings I have attended.Well worth attending and the stadium and facilities are 1st class.Attendances look decent.

The bottom line is that the sport in its present form is not attracting and keeping new fans in numbers to make it sustainable on the wages they are paying to the Top Riders at Championship Level without Major Sponsorship,which seems hard to attract.Slippery Slope IMO.

Been to Glasgow a few times this year,Friday crowds were good IMO.Tue v Sheffield wasn’t great though .Definately think crowds are up on 2 seasons ago IMO.
