Its the standard reply to “ where does the money come from”.

This is the trouble with the sport nowadays,they should not have to rely on extra donations from fans to keep afloat.The AGM for me done nothing to help reduce costs in the sport or the way it is run.Promotions are still single minded paying out more money than income.It going to come to sticky end IMO.Value for money is debatable nowadays.Riders still seem to have the upper hand as Full Time Professionals it can’t go on forever at this level in the sport.Berwick admission prices last season were Acceptable but some other clubs were not IMO.

Its nothing new riders not getting their money on time,whether they get all that is owed to them is a different matter, I know of a rider who only went back to a club the next season because it was his best chance of getting the money he was owed from previous season,and I’d bet there were a few others in the same boat with various clubs throughout the years.

Personally I wouldn’t.

Don’t think both Wells and Riss will be at Edinburgh,1 maybe.

Think you will get the “golden oldies” that are not at Berwick.

That’s a poor looking Team IMO,think they will have stronger line up than that.

Or more in 1 case, if you did not book in advance.

I reacted to the Post that said 2 / 2pt riders is sheer folly.

Think Berwick and Workington proved to most Teams last year that 2 pt reserves doesn’t work.The different points limit might make difference this season though.

Will not any GB team be products of third tier though,you have got to start somewhere

So have a number of clubs unfortunately they have financial issues too.

There seems to very little value in season tickets nowadays probably due to number of fixtures in a season nowadays.

Sad to see Buxton,the only Team who tried to compete with spirit which the league was set up but were outgunned in the end by glory hunters paying over the odds to riders for success.
