I am not an expert, but when the government Said 3 weeks ago that people would not be allowed into Stadiums till October You don’t have to be a genius to think there would not be League Speedway,and after all it is a forum for discussions.

It very difficult to see the logic in some of the lockdown scenarios,and to what will be the requirements will have to be in place should Clubs want to run a few meetings, obviously this will become clearer nearer the deadlines.

I read that in Sweden the lower league crowd limit was 50 , in one match only 48 turned up

I would dispute that remark , Speedway in Poland is not semi professional If you are good enough to get to the top.!

That’s got nothing to do with riders and officials testing though.In Poland riders and officials are tested and its limited attendance there.!

Will Covid testing for riders and officials still be required if stadiums don’t open till October,not seen anything mentioned on this subject?

It’s certainly pushing towards a cashless society,must admit as someone who was a “pay with cash person” since lockdown have used card services almost 100%.

The other thing that has to be taken into consideration given what you have just said is how many neutral fans are going to travel 60-100 mls to watch a match in Oct-Nov given the weather prospects and dark nights.

That would seem sensible to me given the fragility of the Sport nowadays.

I personally think it would have to be meaningful matches(league)to tempt a lot of fans in sufficient numbers. Cant see that happening,(happy if proved wrong) Fans don’t seem to turn up for meaningless meetings in the last couple of decades, better things to do with their money I reckon.
