He looked Ok before he got injured but being honest he was not even 1/2 fit at the start of the season and was getting worse every week.Smith was a poor signing but there wasn’t much about at the time. Smith talks a good game but can’t see him getting to next level now.

Luke is certainly not an Ashton, he is on the way up in the sport and is talented and not handed everything on plate.Whoever gets him will get a good signing.IMO

He rode the 2half of the season in Poland and Denmark last season

No I’m not,just thought he has been unlucky with Clubs,Certainly impressed when he guested at Berwick last season he has had some decent meetings when I have seen him.As I said (I don’t know).

While 2nd strings and reserves probably except the going rate.I doubt the Top Men in NDL are riding just for track time. Buxton number of years ago were the only ones who refused to pay “over the odds” in what was meant to be a Development League and see where it got them.

Don’t think there is a”Standard Rate” in the sport that is adhered too.

Would do a job at Berwick .IMO.Maybe not lot of improvement average wise but certainly would not drop much with Shielfield as home track.

Feel for Trigger but you have to question what they are asking to ride.(I don’t know) .Some of these juniors think they are in the big time with their demands.(so I have heard).The sport is in trouble times.
