Out of interest what happens if the rising star fails to get to the next star level at the end of the season.Will he still be a rising star for 5 years if he fails to improve over the years or will he get “dumped”.

Ellis ,Bates,Perks,Greaves,Stoneman,Bowtell,Coles and a few another’s have been around long enough(not rising stars).Ellis ,Clegg and Bates should not even be bracketed in the same as most of the others.Bit farcical IMO.That’s what happens when you introduce phrases like “rising stars” .Nothing easy for BSPA.

Berge can be a waste of space at times, when he is not in the mood he just takes the P*ss.

Bad Start,he said he is not riding this season.Polish rules are not effecting enough riders to matter.It’s the riders choice where they ride not the new Polish rules.

If we get the League’s going this year it will be interesting to see what will be with crowd levels,I wouldn’t be confident of an increase( certainly of new fans)and admission prices have been a touchy subject in the last few years given the quality of entertainment and star names in GB.Poland cannot really be criticised for getting on with it and growing the sport.GB have just sat back watching and are now paying the price.

Agree.Nothing’s simple in British Speedway though.Self Interest always wins.

Just another farcical decision to call anybody “rising star” simply call it “grading and we can argue all we want.Anybody could be a”rising star”
