October was a “ get out clause” .I certainly won’t book Pre- book for October In Manchester for a 2 day event.I have asked for a refund. If it was a good forecast come the time and there was tickets I might consider it
It’s a sad reflection on a Professional Sport that the best riders don't get a equal chance of reaching the Top wherever they were born.IMO.
It doesn’t happen in other forms of Motorbike Sport.
It doesn’t I’m afraid, but realistically there only 5 or 6 riders who could win the World Championship with the present GP series, there are a few youngsters coming through but not GP standard and it is a struggle to be able to afford to compete at the Top Level.Young Poles have the best chance with Sponsership IMO.
Agree regarding Iversen and Lindback . Dudek and Michelsen are relatively young And probably deserve still to be there on general form in leagues.Like has been stated there is aTop 5/6 that are probably the title contenders the rest just now are making up the numbers. Most of the other other youngsters up and coming are Poles.Holder,Lidsey and Fricke probably deserve a chance.
Agree with GP Challenge Final being held after last GP with some riders at the lower end of series involved.
Sad news, he started his British career as a Edinburgh & Coatbridge Monarch ‘65 /‘67/‘68 remember going to Wembley to see him in World Finals for Monarchs in these years, very stylish and great favourite with the fans, Along with Reidar Eide transformed the Monarchs in that period.IMO
RIP. Bernie.
It’s very noticeable in slow -mo,regarding slack in tapes so is he really jumping the start at times,as Saturday proved when he done a perfect start and was brought back.
