I would have thought they are running the sport for the fans not the riders though, and without them they would be unable to pay the riders who are not Amateurs and certainly would not ride for nothing.There would be no speedway in that case. Either that or Promoters are in the sport just to give away their money.( some were and they didn’t last long)

Given the concern at the of the season regarding “cash flow” it cannot come as a surprise the riders aren’t queuing up to join Brummies unfortunately.
