  1. Will Covid testing for riders and officials still be required if stadiums don’t open till October, not seen anything mentioned on this subject?
  2. It’s certainly pushing towards a cashless society, must admit as someone who was a “pay with cash person” since lockdown have used card services almost 100%.
  3. That’s the way a lot of pubs restaurants are getting your details as you have to order and pay through their apt, that way they have got your contact details.
  4. Tell your pals from Wolverhampton to hire a coach and fill it.
  5. The other thing that has to be taken into consideration given what you have just said is how many neutral fans are going to travel 60-100 mls to watch a match in Oct-Nov given the weather prospects and dark nights.
  6. That would seem sensible to me given the fragility of the Sport nowadays.
  7. I personally think it would have to be meaningful matches(league)to tempt a lot of fans in sufficient numbers. Cant see that happening,(happy if proved wrong) Fans don’t seem to turn up for meaningless meetings in the last couple of decades, better things to do with their money I reckon.
  8. That was the best link for me,but not happening now
  9. I think the problem could be if League Speedway did get the go ahead and a number of Teams committed to it, if the crowd levels were poor at certain venues would they be allowed to withdraw without Penalty.(clubs have been fined in the past) It’s a risk given the current situation. Its not as though most Clubs Could run if only 50% normal crowd turned up without losing money(we all know there is plenty room for normal crowds).Maybe they would be some sort of subsidy from BSPA to help.!
  10. Think most Clubs will be worried about the financial implications regarding EXTRA costs depending on restrictions, even if they got the go ahead.
  11. In Poland should he not have been practicing Speedway rather than BMX riding though.
  12. Have to agree, and when you watched some of Bellego’s moves in the meeting ,they were ruthless.
  13. I think that is because they are the odds the Bookmakers are giving.
  14. Could be tongue in cheek, but if the people running the Sport can’t put out a clear statement on such an important subject tells you something does it not.
  15. That’s why they should forget this year. Most of them will lose less money than in previous seasons.
  16. Can’t believe that statement, says it all about how the sport is being run by people who haven’t a clue. Its like they have just discovered the bikes have no brakes
  17. Until fans find out what is going to be on offer regarding meaning fixtures and restrictions it’s hard to get enthusiastic, fans have not taken to well to Individual Meetings in the last number of seasons, that would maybe put some older fans from taking the risk. Its going to be a gamble for the Promotions if they get the green light. It will be interesting to see will actually run if they get the go ahead.
  18. You can’t say you didn’t see it coming over the last few years ,but this Pandemic has certainly Not helped.
  19. Given the circumstances in a Poland with coronavirus think GB speedway should just put a lid on this season,if the same ruling was to apply over here.
  20. Is it not Questionable that you would have to wear it outside at the speedway though.
  21. Had a bet on Timo Lahti and Peter Luaugn At 16/1and 14/1 respectively, couldn’t believe the odds.
  22. Remember Bob Humphreys riding for Milton Keynes at Powderhall, coming out of the bends onto the straight his front wheel hovered about a foot off the ground virtually the full length of the straight,he was in perfect control, perfect set up I reckon.Superb skill.
