They may ,but they can’t make teams sign riders they can’t agree Terms with.They could ban all Foreigners then watch all hell let loose!!! They couldn’t run a raffle.IMO .It’s all about self interest.

Have to agree,it’s a bit of a silly statement from Godfrey.He has no control over Clubs terms and conditions regarding signing riders.Riders averages would also have to be taken into consideration.Just a nonsense statement.

Wroclaw looked good on paper last year ,but failed on track.We just have to wait and see.

GB need to offer better pay rates which is not possible due to the state of the sport here, no forward thinking in the last 20 years from Promoters here.Silly money and silly rules have driven many fans away so family ties with the sport have been lost and not been able to attract a new younger fan base.When cameras pan the the crowds in Poland they have a very healthy young fan base .The bubble May burst in Poland regarding pay rates but don’t think it will harm the sport in the same way as has happened over here.

One thing for sure the riders will “ follow the money” can’t really blame them.

GB had their chance to monopolise the sport years ago but got complacent,hence the position they are in now within the Sport.Can’t blame the Poles for that.

Scientists change their mind quicker than the wind ,nobody knows what the real story is.Godfrey is just getting hopes up.Would like to think everything would be BACK TO NORMAL but certainly wouldn’t bank on it.

Think the Clubs will have to rethink pay rates over the next couple of seasons given the situation( Club Sponsors ect).That might affect the riders situation as full time occupation.

There could be a few more riders find themselves in the same situation regarding sponsors the way things are going with the economy,things are going to get worse before getting better.IMO.

Like I said that’s Speedway ,you can never tell nowadays whether the meeting will go ahead if there is the slightest concern regarding track or weather.Don’t know how the Polish fans react to these situations though.

It was obvious from the start that there would be no “real racing” just a case of getting round in one piece.Visability and spray would always be a problem you had to gate.The riders were getting round Ok. In the last race Bernzton and Wozniak were actually giving it areal go to their credit.Lindgren falls off on his own so they decide “that’s it”. That’s Speedway though,if the Stadium had been packed the fans would have felt cheated IMO.

Agree, Berntzon was in difficulty and was laying in it down anyway,Wozniak was unlucky but took a nasty fall. None of them were anywhere near Lindgren.Meeting should have never went ahead IMO.I am in the should have finished it camp.It was a lottery though.

When a Lockdown was announced it should be for everybody except essential workers.Sport certainly does not come into that category whatever way you look at it.

That’s a fair point, now that he’s established himself in Poland Lidsey might give GB a miss.Riding here is low on the agenda for most of the top men.
