Agree, the young Brits get a couple of days out and are left to get on with it with very little track time, which is really what they need to get a feel for different set -ups and bikes handling.Brits get an energy bar and a gym session. It’s a hard game. There are few young Danes coming through slowly.
Best young riders in GB means nothing in World terms although Brennan was on the pace of the rest. The Poles were in a different class. There have been a few hype up who have never made it over the last 20-30 years.
Shows how much he thinks of Speedway as Team Sport.Self interest has manifested itself done to reserve riders. How does the Sport allow this farcical situation.
The Poles were outstanding .The format is a joke,It would have embarrassing for rest if they had won.Brennan was up there Flint and Kemp picking up the minor points.Danes were clearly 2nd best.Hope Sorensen is Ok,the was a nasty get off.
Think that’s how they will see it judged by previous seasons.
What Year it’s been ,They are having a new trophy this season,Rider of the Year with most Guest Appearances. It’s a close with many still in contention.
Laurence Rogers sums it it up for me,he says there was little wrong with the track,a few bumps and bits but nothing the experienced riders should find troublesome.REALLY ,tell that to Stewart,Neilsen and Grobulaur and the fans standing around while the are carted off to hospital. No wonder the sport if failing in Birmingham.
