It won’t happen though.Money talks, these riders are getting more for signing on than they can earn in a season in UK.They know where there bread is buttered
Agree, there is a general entertainment point of view. It’s the structure of the sport, which IMO is struggling to attract new fans. It’s just not credible, and it’s mainly diehards which are keeping it afloat.
You could have looked through the Oxford page to find that out.Instead you gave your smart ar*ed comment. We are all smart ar#es on here as you like to point out regularly in your Dirt Extra Column.
Sorry I Will rephrase that, the standard is higher but it’s the same riders beating each other. There are certainly no superstar 10 pt average riders even though it is a weakened League.
It’s obviously about trying to hold on to TV money, there is very little difference in the standard in the 2 leagues.Bjarne finish up 6th in “top” league averages for Panthers.Self Interest, but will never be admitted or sorted out.
The only Official article I have read is Bomber has signed for Bandits. There has been nothing Official that I have read regarding the Oxford situation regarding which league or riders.
6,13,8,11+1,7,13.
Thats was his points in matches for Eastbourne this season.Don’t think that would push him up given the amount of matches he rode for Glasgow.
Can see their point ,what is the point of trying to break into a sport where most of the Competitors have 2 Clubs and chance of aTeam place is a long term prospect. The leagues need a restructure to help riders break into Teams. It won’t happen though.
They are doing nothing to address the problems,it’s pretty obvious we have to start again and restructure our league to suit the sport in GB .Any rider the becomes decent isn’t going to hang about here.Instead we are concentrating on giving the riders what they want, to the detriment of the sport.
It’s obvious they never thought about averages when discussing Rising Stars.
Flint and Hume are not even 4* ,so do they move up this season.Wait with baited breath to see what they dream up
