He had had 2 good seasons at Berwick was disappointed when he went Paisley.

Long time ago it’s was 1975 when Colin got the Max.Berwick won 45-33,in I976 your right Colin was a Lion,Berwick won 43-35.Was there both nights though.Can’t remember what I done yesterday never mind nearly 50 years Ago!!!!!!. Keep up the good work though, great recalling the memories.

Yeah also at the Berwick Match.Big away win for Bandits ,if I remember correctly Colin Farquerson had a Maximum for Bandits.

Great read,keep up the good work.Was at the meeting at Paisley with Newcastle when all the trouble with track width.

It irks me paying more to watch a watered down Championship.Some good riders left on the shelf for riders who are only there because of their average not their talent.

Grading would be a solution if it could be done without riders manipulating it easily.Riders already look after their averages with the present system.

Lowering the Average’s is doing no favours to British Speedway,regarding bringing on British youngsters.At least 3 or 4 are missing out this season because of it IMO.

Irrespective of how Drew and Anders progress British Speedway is going to suffer .Any British youngster that developing fast is going to lost in the main to Polish Speedway as has been proved with Bewley and Lambert,and let’s be honest British Clubs will struggle to meet their demands unless Swedish speedway (which is struggling) goes completely t#ts up,and the riders want to top up their earnings over here again. Ambition for any Young rider in the WORLD is to get into Polish Speedway.

Agree.As it’s the start of the season might have attracted a decent turn out if they could have fitted something in though.Redcar organised a fixture as a warm up as they said in SS.

Surprised Berwick not having a warm up meeting before meeting Redcar in K.O.Cup.

He’s hardly up and coming though,the NDL is becoming an outlet for some easy earnings for a number of these “older” riders.Also Bickley and Hook should not be riding at this level if they have any ambitions.That’s speedway in GB though.
