Think most of us are wondering about a strong Berwick Team especially if Schlein does retire. -
Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025

You can’t really think that any rider seriously involved in Poland is going to ride for Berwick on on a Sat night. -
Who too.?
-
Birmingham weren’t exactly loyal to Zac Cook, really can’t blame if he leaves.
-
Like you say priorities rule.
-
Advertising his book after retiring.Money.!!!!

The others would complaining about Home Advantage if it was😂👌 -
With tailored alterations I hope.😂
-
When are the Play offs at Ashfield to pick next seasons Team.😂.All very quiet.

Think the trouble is the weakening of the Leagues mediocre riders are finishing with higher averages ,then they keep wanting to lower points limit.Standard of League diminishing rapidly now .Admissiom prices are going up though. There is only one outcome.
-
Riders won’t be queuing up given there Statement a month ago.Cash flow probably meant some riders were due money.Although this seems to have been resolved I’m sure it doesn’t entice riders to the Club.
-
Would having a World beating Team double the Attendance though.Thats the issue at Brum.
-
Like you say it’s not unrealistic to run 2H 2A even with the Oxford situation if they had a rain off they could always run double header with aNDL match to catch up.Im sure it wouldn’t hurt their finances that much, especially if the crowd levels are what are being said.

Even if the could afford it it’s still only 1 week that still leaves a lot of blanks
-
There is certainly no easy fix.It is what it is now.Take it or leave it is the only answer.IMO
-
Getting riders would be the main issue for weekend Clubs though.Your Doyle, Bewley etc are not around UK at Weekends.Would rather just see weekly speedway, starting to lose interest in the sport these days it’s just bit of a shambles in so many ways. The racing is still Ok but that’s about all, can’t see it attracting new fans and keeping them.
-
I realise that, but the difference is they have to buy the food to sell, which was not the case before.
-
Berwick and Glasgow both had 12 home fixtures in the season, it’s just ridiculous planning.Glasgow have investigated heavily in the Stadium and Sport can’t see how that can help their business.Fans will lose interest if there is another season like last.I know a few who already have.
-
The other thing to point out though is Oxford had a successful season hence a lot more fixtures.
-
From what I saw, you not only heard that .🤔👌
-
Think the Anderson’s done their own in house catering when they were in charge at Berwick. think it was a success as they provide the food from their Butcher Business which obviously makes a big difference.
-
There was a Hot food Van on site when I visited at the start of the season. Was it there all season ?
-
Did the crowd levels generally hold up to decent level. The track action was superb.
