  1. That’s decent like you say,you have to remember he wasn’t aHeat Leader at the start of the season (don’t think so,maybe wrong). Now No1.
  2. He certainly makes sure he is fixed up,but there again with averages etc, loyalty in speedway might not work in your favour. He is just looking after No 1.
  3. He rode in the Longtrack this season, don’t see any reason that things would change significantly if he signed for Bandits again.
  4. The forecast is not good but as they are having to ride it this weekend the riders will be coming up anyway.
  5. It’s such an important job that you could ask half the riders in the Leagues who the Team Captain is and they probably would know.
  6. Think he said Poole were brilliant.!
  7. Between injuries and guests they see the Dozen riders every week
  8. Agree, but Strong Heat Leaders still seems to be the way go.
  9. The Championship gives a better variety of fixtures .
  10. Attendances have pretty good anytime I have been there certainly up from the previous Promotion’s tenure.
  11. Start with Sam Masters.!!That will bring a few from the East.
  12. Have to agree to an extent regarding throttle control, but surely the set up matters more in wet conditions and can be geared to suit. The track was set up strange on Sunday very little dirt on the inside line ( meaning less than usual IMO)and was bone track underneath after the light watering that it was given before the meeting started, therefore when the rain came the inside became very slippy hence the reason they were trying to rough it up .I personally though it would have been Ok if the rain didn’t come back, but who’s to know the it’s riders have to ride it.These decisions though are certainly harming the sport.A forecast of rain on the the day means they should just cancel the meeting.(that’s what it’s coming to more and more). Very seldom a meeting is run in any wet conditions .The fans will just stay at home.If it’s streamed even more so.
  13. I agree with a lot your saying, but the crux of the issue on Sunday was in doubt and a bit dubious.IMO.History now though, but did it do the sport any favours.
  14. The whole situation regarding wet tracks and speedway is completely out of hand. The Refs have no control,it’s simply Health and and Safety rules. We have situations like “ it’s rideable not raceable” were thinking of the fans, that’s a lot of “bullsh#t.The riders know the meeting will have to be re-run. In Testimonials and Open Meetings they are willing to ride round on tracks that’s not raceable just too collect the money knowing it will probably NOT be re-run. Speedway is a dangerous sport whether the track is wet or dry. Excuses not to ride are running out weather or track used all the time.Fans are getting fed up .IMO. The fans that say we want see decent racing usually get “Gate And Go “racing in UK,on dry tracks and covered in dust, but Hey the riders are Happy. PS The throttle works both ways, that doesn’t seem to be the case nowadays though.
  15. It might well be.It was certainly rideable on Sunday so can’t see why riders will change there stance if you are correct about the track.
  16. You certainly seem to dislike Brennan to say he does not have the ability yet is total nonsense.
  17. Better hope long range Weather Forecast is not correct. It’s pretty dire for Friday and certainly mixed for Sat.
