  1. Personally think Phil does a good job, otherwise you would be there all night with the riders and mechanics antics with bikes anytime there is re run.
  2. Pity for him,but he was the only one the track beat, don’t think you can blame the track tonight.!
  3. Good GP certainly no complaints about track it was very good.Surprised Bartosz didn’t take 3 in Final.
  4. I’d rather see a youngster trailing round last and giving it go than him taking my hard earned money for just turning up when he feels like it.
  5. Unfortunately he has history off throwing in the towel during a meeting or doesn’t make the gate.Binning him wouldn’t do the Brummies any harm given their predicament now.Poor show especially with the cameras there.
  6. It’s interesting that Polcopper in Poland has had enough of the Aussie rider’s attitude over there. Just Saying!!
  7. Well done to Glasgow great effort from both riders,Harris superb Team riding but credit too Basso who was very brave and fearless when it mattered.Do all Aussies whinge all the time.
  8. I saw that.what’s Glegg doing tonight,at least he’s a signed Team Member.
  9. As a guest though. It does nothing for the sport when riders can’t be bothered turning up for the Club. The fixture has been listed all season.
  10. Glasgow will give these 3 a run for their money. IMO
  11. Keeping their job next season will be on their minds.Lawson has perfected it over the years.Harris had perfected it up till this season, where he is rattling in the points obviously getting payed by the point this time round at Ashfield.
  12. True. Too many being overpaid for what they produce on track. It’s a closely guarded subject riders wages. Would like an indication of cost of riders wages for Bullets Team, bet it’s not been cheap.
  13. That’s speedway riders for you unless they getting paid over the odds or a guarantee they are not interested these days. They must be getting good money for a 6 month job.The second strings complain there is not enough meetings to make it pay.Happy days.
  14. The National League was the lower league when Mike Lee started but it certainly was very high standard .It was not junior riders as the NDL is today.Like you saying Ashton although new to speedway certainly knows how to ride a motorbike. In Lee ‘s day most of the youngsters from the Grasstrack scene.
  15. Hackney in the then lower league in these days was probably harder than todays Premiership.IMO
  16. Seemingly you have not too talk about it.So how’s the weather!!
