It’s “ swings and roundabouts” the main problem is the riders are dictating the sport.IMO.It should be the other way round,but self interest is what really matters to Promotions.
The whole fixture planning is a disaster as usual.Things never change.Successful Teams will still struggle into October even though they have 1/2 there usual home fixtures.
No one will ever forget Jimmy Beaton’s tractor driving during the meeting preparing the starts for home riders in the Blantyre days.Classic.Them days they came out with the grader whenever they wanted.Peter Waite and Billy the Bowser “track watering” during the meeting at Berwick also comes to mind.
