  1. He's been spending too much time with Kelvin - he either moaned when it was on or moaned when it was called off too
  2. Damned if you do, damned if you dont. I felt it was a bit early to call it off when they did especially given that the weather was forecast as it has been - a little rain earlier, nice clear afternoon and as others have said a perfect night for speedway as things stand just now. They need to stop looking at the weather forecasts given out from England and listen to Sean Batty or Windy Wilson as they are far more accurate up here. Could be costly if they run out of dates
  3. As we all know, any ‘stone’ they use is made of RAAC concrete when it suits
  4. you can’t even think of your own response, just plagiarise the first bit of mine! I just answered you claiming I’d never experienced adrenaline to prove you wrong - again! You like claiming a lot of things that are bull but try and pass yourself off as the ‘expert’. Still, I should probably stop feeding the troll I’m off to enjoy more adrenaline!
  5. I hadnt appreciated that the riders knew of the rule so Im setting on the reversing lights and admitting he has no complaint when it was given to him before the start of the series in black and white. I do think though now it has arisen, the rule has to be looked at for the sake for the sake of the sport. For a first offence and in practice only it should perhaps be a very heavy fine and relegated to last place in the qualifying. After that, well it would have to be what happened to Zmarslik
  6. Oooh hit a wee nerve did I? Dont like people pointing out errors do you lol Does the adrenaline of winning a national title, or of representing your country in two different sports count? Will it do for starters? Or maybe navigating in a rally car in one of the stages of the Scottish rally a few years back? Ooops you appear to be wrong again, never mind.
  7. Actually adrenaline is a hormone and neurotransmitter and a ‘natural’ substance to humans and many other species but keep trying
  8. Disqualifying a rider for that reason is an absolute joke, there is no credibility left in the sport. It stinks of manipulation. Moving on, that was an awful crash for Doyle. I hope all the treatment is precautionary and that he is not badly hurt and wish him well
  9. Vividly. He didn’t post to the world that he had paid for additional tests that cleared his name. I guess the lesson is wait until all factors are known before taking sides. Have they announced the disciplinary date yet?
  10. So rather than try to prevent a potential problem in an already dangerous sport, wait until someone gets hurt or worse than test? Riiight…
  11. I probably worded that badly, I wasn’t actually blaming the track and I don’t expect tai would either. I meant as opposed to him not qualifying for the semi’s by being beat by other riders
  12. I get that when you have a marketing hat on but as a speedway supporter it’s papering over the cracks. Speedway need more fans at the tracks not to have a crowd look good on telly for what will predominantly be an audience made up of speedway fans as it is. They need to look at why crowds are dwindling rather than how to make them ‘look’ better imo
  13. They reallocated some seats to make it look better for the cameras. That’s apparently why the bottom tier is empty
  14. I watch too much Yes Minister. To try to rip off a Bernard Woolley Quote:- Glasgow find loopholes in the rules You bend the rules Poole cheat and moan (tongue firmly in cheek!) I suspect this might have been another Michael Max masterpiece - his knowledge of the rules has always been phenomenal
  15. I cant believe that anyone wants to watch the incident where someone was seriously hurt back again - at least BSN have the sense and respect not to upload it. As for people wanting updates, we are way down the list of priorities. The important thing is that the photographer is getting the treatment he needs and his family and friends the support. Updates will come as and when they are ready but we are not the priority here (cant believe I am having to actually point that out to people). Best wishes to ALL those involved
  16. You have no idea how close that came to happening in Grangemouth yesterday. There were locals primed to go and that was when the police extended the blockade. Would have been more fun if they had let the locals at them lol. The only people impacted by what they did yesterday were contract workers. Ineos workers who couldnt get into work were just sent home but will be paid. Not all contractors - many of whom are on the construction/electrical side - have the same luxury
  17. For Scotland forecasts Windy Wilson is the way to go or Sean Batty. No point in looking at the Met office forecasts for Scotland they are rarely accurate
  18. I believe he has already said that he was speaking with people in Scotland and using the weather forecasts that the club were apparently using so thats hardly an accurate comment - he wasnt doing any predicting himself. We all know speedway is in trouble. It needs the few customers it still has to speak up about things that irk them. Promotions may or may not be able to do anything about it but it could give them a reason to look at things differently. Not really sure attacking another supporter who is questioning a decision is really the way ahead - disagreeing is healthy tho
  19. Thats sad to hear, sounds like the inability to communicate and promote is really biting hard. It used to be a worry when crowds fell to 800!
  20. Hopefully I am mis reading this Noelinho, I assume the home crowd hasn’t fallen to 500? In fairness to Lucifer Sam, he is one of the most travelled speedway fans on here and travels up and down the country to watch speedway, not just his team. As such he is probably pretty knowledgeable from the side of how fans view and are affected by things. Rather than attack people like that perhaps they should be listened to for the future of the sport
  21. More info on it at Methanol as fuel | Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore if you are interested/can't sleep
  22. Oh you are very welcome (said she sarcastically) Thanks for ignoring my reply telling you I could not do so and suggesting you contact Phil
