  1. And often you would be sitting in the car park with your wipers going full bung when it was posted!
  2. Agree SCB and his whole attitude was first class, came across well off track and very honest. A few of the prima donnas in GB speedway could learn a lot from him
  3. But then people wouldn't be able to twist and manipulate it for their own ends and agendas Rob.....
  4. Is that a Scream full of Screms? A Gaggle full of Screms? A Murder full of Screms? A Beer full of Screms....or should that be Screm full of beer? #sillysunday
  5. Last one I remember being named was James McBain back in I think it was Nicks first season. If clubs name a no 8 it's a shame that's not included on the BSPA listings under the team then we'd know!
  6. What no 8? I can only remember one season when a number 8 was actually named and that was a few years ago
  7. Makes Glasgow a lot stronger at Ashfield imo......r/r always seemed the best option at home for Nick given the home form of the majority of the other riders
  8. Absolutely nothing mate, have gone on record many a time saying how many are amongst the friendliest folk you can meet. But yer still inferior Sassenachs
  9. err How dare you! I am far from being a weegie Sarah! But at least I have the decency to post in an attempt at English as the forum says you are meant to so that people can maybe understand what I post and not think its 'smart' to post in whatever. If thats allowed why isnt text speak cos its a lot more legible!
  10. Anybody a clue what the hell is being said here? I thought this forum was in English
  11. . Probably edited out of the original post which was made elsewhere which was also less than complimentary - to put it lightly - about B S F and ALL its members.
  12. For being wrong and calling him a lot of things including a liar when it's now been proven he wasn't?
  13. Anyone else see the irony in these two posts? Lol. Point missed methinks. You claim to have privileged info but 'can't disclose, can't say anything' (other than of course to imply that you are in the know and put across you should not be questioned) but want others to have sources and disclose them for their opinions! And even though others are pointing out how they have formed their OPINIONS you still try to stick with the 'name your sources' line pmsl
  14. Any information I am given that is not to be put in the public domain I do not use in a public place to imply I know something someone else doesn't or to try and demean without being able to provide the proof That's common decency I am afraid
  15. I agree with you. For me one of the best pieces of riding all night was heat 12 when Summers worked his backside off to protect Konopka for all 4 laps (and missing his lock ups!) No passing but excellent speedway imo
  16. Glad someone else mentioned Aaron in heat 12. I thought he was superb the way he protected his temporary team mate yet the commentators barely mentioned it and worse went on a short while later to bemoan that in their opinion team riding was dead! Err Mr Summers in ht 12 proved otherwise
  17. Im not certain one way or another SCB but thought that was always the case? Something sticks in my mind though that there was a rule change in who could be brought in to replace reserves who were missing this season but I cant quite pull it from the back of my brain just now
  18. thats already been answered a couple of posts up by mc131 who advised its Konopka :/
  19. Its technically a re arranged meeting SCB and he signed in Sweden first, so they have priority I believe
  20. Im not a lover of Mr McGregor but imo he should be commended for keeping people informed. If more people within speedway did the same in an open and honest manner then speedway would not be in anywhere near as bad a state as it is now
  21. Interesting that Sarjeant earlier today declared himself fit and ready to ride for Glasgow against Rye House apparently
  22. I saw Marc Owen as a 15 year old Jacques and thought wow this kid is going to be good. Just never seemed to fulfil it, dunno if perhaps injury played a part
