If the Belle Vue lads are unavailable for a Friday night does that mean it will be Blacklock though?

Curious as to who you wouldn't lol -
I think its more a case of learn from the past but dont let it hold you back. its become almost a common trend in speedway promotion just now that financial risks are taken, occassionally it works but usually it doesnt. Hopefully you guys get a positive outcome

I wasnt there but until someone who was can post, I know that Dan Bewley and Rob Shuttleworth from Belle Vue were there (as was Mitchell although he cant be considered obviously)

You Shouldn't Call People Retards. It's Offensive
Lioness replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Pmsl. I now have this vision of SCB dressed up as BSFs version of Eric Morecambe on a computer keyboard instead of a piano! -
I so wasn't to make a comment about the reaction in Wales but SCB is on too much form just now I'm feart of his reply

Oh look what's back with its usual bile and lies? You forgot to mention the one who lies, tries to carry out a vendetta against the wrong people, still tries to claim I'm doing things even though everyone knows I've had nothing to do with moderating this place for a couple of years, sets up duplicate accounts, posts people's personal details to try and threaten and intimidate even after a fake apology saying he wouldn't do it any more just a couple of hours earlier, sets up funds for an injured rider that the official fundraisers had nothing to do with under a false name. Remind you of anybody? Cough* oh yes it's YOU yet again you come on with your pathetic attempt to twist the truth (aka LIE) and will no doubt try and claim again that you are being picked on. We all let it be but every now and again you try to come on and post a twisted version to pick on others all over again despite ALL the evidence being there to prove your guilt. And you wonder why it keeps coming back to haunt you!!! Pmsl it would be funny if it wasn't so sad It's ok Gem, you are wasting your time. For whatever reason this 'person' has been trying to conduct a vendetta against me for a couple of years blaming me for everything no doubt from the time of the ark to the downing of the Malaysian air liner lol. Sad really. He's not interested in facts though, he's been told many a time that I don't mod but likes to ignore it cos he is still trying to bully and failing He'll try and claim it's all lies, be proved wrong and outed as a liar yet again, disappear for a month or two then come back and post the same drivel on another thread hoping someone might believe him one of these times....oh and blame me for bringing it all up again! I should have saved myself the typing and just posted a link to his last attempt last month, saves going over old ground if anyone is remotely interested http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=80150&p=2710607

Well one thing for sure is that the races between Fisher and Barker when the two meet are going to be entertainment. Love em or not those two have to be the maddest but most entertaining to watch imo, they would be the two at the top of my list as riders you are most likely to pay to watch regularly. Both clubs now have the type of rider likely to appeal to first timers and get them back through the gate, can only be good for Scottish speedway

Would he want to?
-
He also has on numerous occasions been very derogatory towards Glasgow, the track and the people so I very much doubt if he would want to head north - you should have heard the moaning when his brother brought him up as a mechanic
-
Can't believe I'm defending an Edinburgh fan but it's a forum, not a court circular and he was just putting something out there to see if anyone else had heard it, not claiming it to be fact!

Then you are very lucky. It's well known there have been a lot of problems for people parking around Ashfield. I took a basic Hyundai so every car in the area was better than it but still got broken into 4 times in one season, the reason I took a car park season ticket the last season under the old regime. From personal experience I think you'd be daft if you do leave your car in surrounding streets, not that I have to worry about that any more but I'd still hate to see others go through what a good number of us have in the past. The local window replacement company even sent me a Christmas card that season :/

Hope you find them soon as I really can't sleep ;p

are you saying that no one else ever has any problems? the Fisher visa problems were known about well in advance - ask the Coventry fans who helped them out previously. You say they have had problems over the last 3 years - perhaps that should tell you something. It should certainly have made them find out about the requirements in detail. Certain Aussie riders have had VISA problems, their issues only happened once though as once they were aware of them they have made sure they didnt happen again even though in some cases they had to sit a year out from the UK. Plenty workers in other types of employment have to abide by the process if they wish to bring their families too. Bluntly as well, the family side is also nothing to do with the agreement for Ryan Fisher to ride for Plymouth If I sign a contract to be available for work until a specific date then it is MY responsibility to ensure I am available, have the necessary VISA paperwork in place and that I budget accordingly. As already stated, every rider knows that speedway in the UK runs until 31st of October as do riders contracts. Why should I 'give them a break'? Perhaps they should be more respectful of what is needed when they have fallen foul of the regulations the last 3 years? Perhaps they should make sure their paperwork is in order as any other foreign worker has a duty to do? Why should they be a special case? Ryan Fisher signed a contract for Ryan Fisher to be available up until the 31st October. Ryan Fisher should have honoured that contract - after all he was happy enough to when it suited him.
-
Fully agree with you as usual HT but I still think it goes further. The speedway season runs until the 31st October. Everyone who rides speedway in the UK knows that. Therefore whether there is a gap of 3 weeks or not should be irrelevant - they have agreed to be there for their club, available for riding, until the 31st of October. Short of family emergency/illness/injury I dont see that there can be any justification, its a breach of contract. Thing is, it happens every year, whether its one or two meaningless challenges at the end of the season or league matches or in this case play off ones. It has never been stamped down on so it is unlikely to make any difference now. Makes you wonder though if Mr Fisher was not counting on his team doing so well this season..... (As HT knows, I am a big Fisher fan because he is entertaining - just for the record. Here though I believe he is well out of order and has let the Plymouth fans, who have backed him all the way, down very badly)
