  1. Fantastic effort on the Go fund me page raising money to help the club after the recent storm damage to the pit area. The running of the club won’t be cheap anyway let alone these setbacks so it’s great to see people helping out financially and going down the track to offer help. Remember Andrew and the promotion own and run this club but it’s the fans club too so let’s support them on and off track! Already excited for the season to start. Give us a C !!!

  2. I agree. Having lost Swindon a few years ago, the only speedway for me has been on Eurosport/Discovery+ which I have enjoyed. I have absolutely no intention of spending £30 a month on top of my current Sky subscription to purchase additional sports from TNT only one of which I am interested in watching.

  4. Why would they when they are too busy selling season tickets? So...does this have the makings of a repeat of the "Adam Ellis 2022" situation? OR has Google mis-translated from Polish to English yet again and caused people to read into the situation what isn't there? Either way...clarification IS needed.

  5. The track, with those RSJ uprights, looks unsafe for car drivers! Ridiculous! What are they thinking?

  7. Saw this in the speedway star this week touching on the SGP earnings 9The Voice's Charles Mckay collated the earnings - Not seen this mentioned elsewhere on the forum} - The finances are why the PZM are looking to threaten the SGP/FIM about Polish riders and flex there financial muscle and pulling power of Ekstraliga . In the course of winning his fifth World Championship Zmarzlik earned 132,000 euros in prize money. from the SGP Rights Holders Warner Bros Discovery Sports. Considering the financial commitment to break into the Elite Top Tier of listed riders in the SGP - bikes, engines, kevlars, helmets. Mechanics + Pit Crew. Physiotherapists etc ... Not forgetting the simple logistics of getting to SGP - transport costs , flights and/or diesel, hotels, food. Mechanics. Since 2022 the net prize money and championship points per SGP have remained the same. GP riders have to cover all riders costs because the rights holders don't pay expenses unless the GP is outside of Europe. FIM/SGP rules states that riders hotels and travel expenses are included in the prize money. 20pts - 16,500 18pts - 12,500 16pts - 10,000 14 pts - 9000 12pts - 7750 11pts - 7750 10pts - 7250 9pts - 7250 8pts - 6500 7pts - 6250 6pts - 6000 5pts - 5750 4pts - 5500 3pts - 5250 2pts - 5000 1pt - 4750 0pts - 1000 all prize money is in euros. The top three in the standings - Zmarzlik, Lambert and Lindgren are the only riders that took over 100,000 euros over the course of the season in prize money.

  8. If you contact Discovery Plus via their chat they will offer you 7 months Premium (incl. TNT Sports) for £15.49 a month. It is a 1 month rolling contract so just cancel once your 7 months is up. You must redeem the code before 28th March but don't redeem before 5th March otherwise you will miss Speedway of Nations. Alternatively DMAX (EE/YouView/TalkTalk/freeview channel 39, Sky 159, Virgin 169, Freesat 147) will show highlights from every round of Speedway Grand Prix and British Premiership Speedway. I hope this helps.

  9. You'll only get the basic plan with Sky (no TNT). If you want TNT then you'll need to pay for premium plan.

  10. Hey im kasey and bill was my uncle. He fell sick with insomnia and bipolar and got to angry and sick to ride. He still watches speedway and goes to the local shows in our home town Adelaide. It was quite sad because he has said many times speedway was all he had and his trophies were his life but I think hes getting on pretty well as hes older
