  1. He had a really bad crash at Glasgow and his scoring was never at the level it was pre Glasgow crash.

  2. I agree - looks like there's room, seems mad that the landowners would turn down the rent and there'a ready made audience. I assume there's enough parking space with speedway operating outside of business hours and as you say McD would do a bomb. I think you should make the phone call haha

  3. Obviously from a financial point of view it’s better to build but as my initial post, they haven’t built on the track and the business like macdonalds and greggs would of benefited from the speedway still being there and as one of my customers is within a few hundred yards of the track they told me they wished they would have kept it a speedway track than an industrial estate which it has now become

  4. But, in my opinion, we can say that about a lot of riders these days.

  6. If you contact Discovery Plus via their chat they will offer you 7 months Premium (incl. TNT Sports) for £15.49 a month. It is a 1 month rolling contract so just cancel once your 7 months is up. You must redeem the code before 28th March but don't redeem before 5th March otherwise you will miss Speedway of Nations. Alternatively DMAX (EE/YouView/TalkTalk/freeview channel 39, Sky 159, Virgin 169, Freesat 147) will show highlights from every round of Speedway Grand Prix and British Premiership Speedway. I hope this helps.

  8. 4 from 4 for the Bandits in 2023. 2 + 1 from 4 for Redcar last season. Knudsen another who relys on gating, imo.

  9. Simple answer - because the people who bought the land off the Hancocks didn't want speedway there?

  10. Interesting to see 2 Russian boxers Berbatov and Bivol fighting each other in the Main Event in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night . Seemingly like the tennis, boxing doesn't regard the Russian invasion of Ukraine as a justification for banning athletes from their sports. Both those sports have coverage that only Speedway could dream of in the UK and I've never heard of any criticism of their participation in both sports in our press. What then is the justification for Sayfutdinov and Lagutas continuing absence in World Championship events?

  11. That scenario has gone on forever in speedway. When I rode in the very early 80’s it was exactly the same so a little unfair to blame the current northern tracks, especially Berwick, who have always done their best for youngsters even without running a NJL side of late. Try blaming your more local tracks for not running more regular competitive racing for juniors.
