They used to stage the Easter Trophy as a qualifier for the Scottish Cup, which was held later in the season. The winners of the Easter Trophy were seeded directly to the Scottish Cup Final, while the losers qualified as the highest-scoring runners-up.
My comeback year, think most Lynn fans are excited about our 2025 team, how many blimmin years have we wanted Bomber to race for us, forever, gotta be a good omen eh 😀 Looking forward to taking my place on the terraces again, it's been an age, jeez! Prague is one of the most beautiful cities I have been so much history, but I have to agree it is problem with the crime that go'es on. The weekends are a big issue as it has become a popular Stag/Hen party venue.
If you enjoy speedway & sight seeing I would recommend the Golden Helmet weekend in Pardubice & incorperate the Tomicek Memorial at Prague on the Monday

Lol I spoke to him when he was on the centre green at Cardiff about three years ago. Never been to a meeting before, thought the riders "had real berries to do that" and said it would make good content for Top Gear. He also posted the final to his followers
Certainly a factor, although that may be more of the reason bookies were not rushing to get involved. I think historically it is more to do with the 'gentleman's club' environment of speedway's administrators [The ACU was set up by the Royal Automobile Club to administer motorcycle sports].
There were a series of unlicensed meetings at Lea Bridge in 1932 where betting was allowed but it didn't catch on. See:
