I get that, and good luck to him. But from a Plymouth team point of view, it's not the best.2 points

I think it might be a good idea if you got yourself a little more informed on what has happened at Coventry judging by your last couple of posts.2 points

Don’t see how the powers that be would allow someone to ride for different teams in the same competition. That would make the sport a laughing stock and would lose all its credibility. Before you know it, teams will be borrowing riders from other teams for one off matches when their own riders are unavailable/injured. Heaven help us if the sport ever plummeted to those levels.1 point

Palovaara is very good against well established riders in Sweden, he'll be a lot better than the last time he rode here.1 point

Having watched a considerable amount ov youth racing I'd rate Rushen higher than Vale and Springer, both of whom averaged in the region of six in their debut season.1 point

I see on Facebook that the supporters club have a quiz planned for 15 January. Full team should be known by then. Should generate some lively discussion between questions.1 point

Dillon has been having problems with his hand since his last crash so not been riding for a while had all his stuff sent back to the states last month can’t see Broc coming back either another with a great job back home1 point

Max perry confirmed for the cubs. It's great to see the club backing the kids again. A talented bunch of riders with bright futures. It's not about winning in the NDL. Clues in the name. It's development. Leicester have been doing that for a number of years now. Winning titles is just a bonus in my eyes.1 point

You would have thought with the different time zone in Aussie he would actually be dropping the clutch earlier wouldn't you? 🤪1 point

I'd be happy if I could still get a set of Britain's speedway riders without breaking the bank...1 point

I can't imagine why anything should change, if Workington weren't happy they should have brought it up before the rules were agreed & announced. Now some riders have 2 clubs, can't see how anything can change. Certainly Leicester's southern based riders won't want it to.1 point

I do. When he bought the stadium, he said he was committed to speedway and presumably, bangers and stocks!1 point

Cairns(however good he is)has the advantage over previous 16 year olds (Screen,PC and Lee)that he will be racing a different standard of riders so very difficult to compare him with these guys .Wish him well.1 point

I haven’t seen Cairns ride live, and the videos of him racing last season at Oxford don’t show him as a Leigh Adams or Craig Boyce. Riders who started as a two pointer and ended on a 9. I don’t think we should be bigging up young William to be a match winner. He is starting the season behind the rest and if he can pick up 4 points a meeting he will be doing his job. Too much expectation leads to failure, and I am sure there will be plenty lining up to laugh at him if he finds the going tough. Already there seems to be too much expectation on his young shoulders.1 point

I said "at that age"blue, screenie straight into the top league, remember when think it was leigh Adams was tearing up the national league(now championship)and a 17yr old screen came down to poole for three match races against him and leigh couldn't get near him,Cairns is going to have to go some to be better than screen in the early yrs1 point

Freddie Hodder won the Stars of Tomorrow competition in September, ahead of competition from the likes of Connor Coles, Jake Mulford, Jody Scott and Acr Pijper. The same Freddie Hodder scored 6+2 while guesting for us at home to Oxford at the tail end of last season. Our top five will throw every single other team in the league around like a wet towel, but make no mistake: the acquisition of Freddie Hodder is a strategic, planned piece of business. The exaggerated focus on our reserves is an attempt to persuade themselves, not us, that everything will be okay.1 point

He attained that in 2015 for Swindon. His stint at Poole in ‘18 was only 2h 3a so it didn’t affect his old 7.10. He should have really been reassessed in 2020 when we signed him but of course the chance to leave him on his higher 7.10 for us couldn’t be missed by the powers that be. Problem there, as often happens is it then created a problem for Kings Lynn a couple of years on, if they changed that decision it would highlight what they did to The Aces. Bringing things up to date, using an average from 2015 is just daft. Glad we didn’t sign him again this year as he’d probably be an 8.00.1 point

Feel we could be going into next season with our weakest team on paper for years. 3 spaces to fill when most teams have already declared their 7 riders. Will miss Joshie for pure entertainment which has papered over the cracks the last 2 years. Alex always says they build a team to make the play offs. Can't see that next season. Hope they prove me wrong.0 points

What’s very interesting is that Birmingham cannot seem to retain riders which is unusual. Not a single one wanted to return Whilst Rew is a very promising rider with lots of potential he attained that average from being at reserve most of the season. I do fear for Birmingham yet again this coming season0 points
