Maybe you should wait for some actual evidence before calling for resignations. So far the sources are 'a couple of people on a forum'.5 points

If this is true , what a load of bollocks !!!! its worse than the old style rider control ....3 points

Lawson would have been my first signing if i was in charge. For me he was the rider of the year and him and Fricke were such a good pairing. Masters isn't a heat leader at this level i'm afraid and isn't consistent enough to carry Becker.3 points

Last year it rolled over until Monday and Tuesday too. People reading way too much into this points system. Ipswich are the most professional club in the league and you think they wouldn’t get their points tally right and have to change it in a week? Clever management again by getting people talking about the sport and the club.3 points

With 1h and 1a next season again off nights are less of an issue. But lots of assumptions in your post Do Redcars crowd suffer ? I don’t know do you ?. is shouting the loudest and guessing who wins your opinion or is it based on information you have that this is fact ?. Nothing wrong with your opinion but don’t make out it’s Scunthorpe or Glasgows fault with nothing to suggest it is , other than personal opinion.2 points

If that happens then it’s an absolute joke!! Well, even more of a joke anyway2 points

Understand where they are comng from but they are lucky can ride basically when they want, i have alwayds enjoyed a Sunday meeting at Redcar2 points

Fans help pay the riders money so riders and promoters need to put on a show and make the meeting a must see event.2 points

I don't see why not considering he started on a 2. With British reduction he'll be just below 4.2 points

So we could be at a stage where everyone has to sacrifice planned 1-7's just to ensure that Birmingham struggle to potentially complete one more season of Speedway. If Birmingham go under mid-season then everyone has made sacrifices for nothing. Phil Morris should resign if he's pushing for this nonsense, His position would be untenable.2 points

Controversial opinion here but I wouldn't have even had them running the last few years. Surely the money Tolley has lost could have been saved up to focus on bringing back the club in a more safe financial state. Workington managed to build a track out of nothing and the Tolley should have done something similar even if that meant re naming the club or even moving them out of the city. People will disagree with this point but I'd rather see the brummies not run for a number of years if that meant they could be force later down the line.2 points

Would also explain the Jack Holder rumours as Sheffield would have to release one of the power three. Birmingham shouldn't have even bothered coming to tapes, They're just going to fold mid-season anyway because the warning signs are already alarming in regards to an uncompetitive team.2 points

Yes, I sense history will ultimately show electric cars to be "the Betamax" of the motor vehicle!2 points

Totally agree with this point. I hate to see winners just return to the pits. I can understand it if they’ve got a quick turnaround to their next outing or if there’s a mechanical issue but otherwise they should accept the appreciation of the crowd. Sensible statement from Danny Ford.2 points

The argument about moving off race night doesn’t wash with me! A repeat of the fiasco of last season may well be the final nail, they haven’t got a clue or don’t care what the fans want. As a business model, it’s a joke.1 point

The problem with the football analogy is that those teams will never run out of opposition to play, that's a real possibility for speedways premier league. Leave Birmingham and Lynn if you like to it but don't complain when there are only 5 teams left1 point

I am embarrassed to admit, being a massive Speedway fan since 1960, that I never knew at the time that Sunderland had a team, let alone know that former Hammer George Barclay was a team regular. In my defence I stopped attending league speedway following the demise of West Ham, and only attended league meetings between 1964 and 1971 featuring the Hammers.1 point

Yes. One of the advantages of having ex riders Louis & Lemon in control of things like that. They fully understand the frustrations of no/late payments.1 point

Gavin Parr said on a podcast this week that Redcar couldn’t do 2H & 2A. Main reason is that Redcar are 1 of 4 Friday night teams & this would mean Redcar had to have 7 off day home fixtures to make it work. 🤷♂️1 point

#TwoTierMorris has to resign then considering he's playing favourites in regards to his former club Birmingham. Pushing for the entire league to make sacrifices for 1 club makes his position untenable imo.1 point

Well out of order if it turns out to be the case. We build a team that imho has a chance of top 4 for a change, and might have it torn up. It's a Mickey Morris Mouse sport if that happens..1 point

Your right. We had a great season and probably over achieved slightly. We can moan all we want about how we would build the team but we always seem to perform well with Stewart in charge1 point

Now that Adams is in charge, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Masters, Douglas,Thorsell, Z.Cook.....then add Brennan, Lampart and Edwards!1 point

Harris is at Kings Lynn, end of. The Sheffield 7 for 2025 is as stated numerous times earlier in this thread. Top heavy 4 and 3 reserves basically1 point

If it’s a 40 point limit and taking into account some of the more plausible rumours that are being banded about, I’m going to have a stab at the team being…..Harris, Boughen, Flint, D.Thompson, Howarth, Hodder and Perry (39.41) ……….or……..Replacing Boughen with Pearson (39.89)1 point

Yes, they did. I am struggling with my memory to recall the details of our final body colour. I will check my records and Post a description as best as I can.1 point

Could have one team on the main track while one of your other teams race on the mini track, 30 heats of speedway in one nite every week 😁1 point
