  1. Maybe Oxford should just do the two leagues then.

  2. ? how many fans would like a trier like Vinnie in there team.

  3. It ridiculous, let them pull out, we don’t need them in all 3 leagues. 8 teams with 28 league fixtures is a good number

  4. I think what i said about Jenkins has not come over correctly.... He was asked to join Lynn during last season as there were rumours Ipswich were moving him out of the 7, after speaking to Management on the rumours, and being told it was rubbish, he went back to Lynn and said Thanks, but No thanks as he wanted to stay at Ipswich. He was NEVER asked about joining Lynn as a R/S for the 2025 season....NEVER. Birmingham made an enquiry for 2025 to be their R/S, but at the time, it was unclear whether Jordan was going to be in the R/S list, so Birmingham made their move on Jason Edwards. Then Lynn picked Ashton, and that was always their 1st choice due to the fact Chris Harris had already agreed to ride for Lynn next season....So no Brainer. Then Oxford went for Killeen, leaving Ipswich with possibly Flint,Hagon,Mulford,Joe Thompson etc, but it was then agreed by Morris and his crew that Jordan would return to the R/S berth for 2025, and obviously he became Ipswich's R/S for 2025. At no stage has Jordan turned down a ride at any club, due to the fact he genuinely didn't know whether he was a R/S or not. They are simply the Facts of it all, and trust me im in a position where i know that is correct. If you ask me for my opinion on the R/S system how it works, then i agree with you all, i imagine phone calls and conversations go on behind the scenes, and sometimes it makes a mockery of the system, but i will defend Jordan, he didn't turn down a ride for any club, where i put not interested in joining Lynn, that was for last season not 2025.

  5. I don't understand that, surely if 8 clubs wanted 2 home & 2 away, they should just vote for that & Oxford stick to the Premiership (& NDL)? One less team would make 2 home & 2 away more feasible.

  6. Ridiculous that Oxford can hold the championship to ransom, let them run 2 teams and give us 2 home and 2 away
    3 points
  7. 1 home 1 away just because Oxford threatened to pull out of the championship because of running in 3 leagues this would be difficult for them Tail wagging the dog imo

  8. I’m sorry but anybody who believes Jordan Jenkins was available to Either Birmingham or Kings Lynn are incredibly naive.

  9. Dan Bewley must be a Poole fan as well then

  10. Yes please. He's young and over rides at times. However, having looking at both crashes I don't think he did anything wrong. Given better equipment I can really see him kicking on next season providing he is given the opportunity to do so in the Championship.

  11. Hasn't that always been the case though? Promoters saying "we've listened to the fans....." changed one little thing and ignored all the bigger issues. Same year after year.

  12. Brennan has been signed up, but I'm hearing that it's Danny King who makes way for him...

  13. Another thats almost been bred for success. Been racing since he was 6, a lot of parent and sponsorship funding providing the best equipment. No doubt theres talent but the bigger shock would be if he wasn't the "next big thing"

  14. Hopefully Vinnie Foord doesn't read this thread. But if he does I hope he just listens to those telling him to seek advice from more experienced riders, as opposed to those saying he did nothing wrong or calling him a lunatic.

  17. Think there's a lot thinking that way,it was much better when you had your weekly fix, think there will be a few more fans drop off next season.

  20. Agreed, if he can iron out that shutting off issue with the help of Bomber then he’s the best rising star in the league by a long way

  23. you dont need to be afraid i think most lynn fans are pleased with him signing he potentially has the highest ceiling of the 7 if his shutting off issues can be ironed out

  27. Fine line between reckless and dangerous I don’t believe he is dangerous or deliberately knocking riders off He is reckless riding above his capabilities at times Unfortunately you have the Poole blinkered mafia who won’t hear a word against him or see when he has done wrong Hopefully it’s because he is a trier and he tries too hard …. Because at some point things have to change for him he can’t keep riding how he is

  31. I have been there many times, last season was the first season that I never went to a meeting due to a combination of things, but I streamed the early fixtures on the Brummies website prior to the streams stopping due to live broadcasts, when you get Harris and Pickering struggling to overtake then you know everything is not well.

  32. Then you sign a 'sacrificial lamb' on a low average at reserve for the first weeks of the season and plan your fixtures accordingly.😀

  36. Might be interesting to ask about the track made on the farm owned by Peter Collin’s dad. The Morton’s and Collin’s spent many hours racing there even before they got on to a Speedway track

  38. With regards the Team manager Rosco is one of the best team managers of recent years, Rosco or Ermolenko ? and If Rosko is available and affordable then he would be a big improvement, with regards the track the 1st & 2nd bends as a minimum require work on the banking to improve what little overtaking occurs on those bends, you can usually count on one finger the number of overtakes on those bends during a season, however any work may not be feasible due to the short time scale before Perry Barr closes. I would like to congratulate the Brummies on there new tie up with Warwickshire County Cricket Club, if any Warwick members venture over to watch Speedway the noise from the bikes should at least wake up some of those County Cricket supporters more used to having a snooze during games 😁. https://www.birmingham-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.3579

  42. Season ticket holders of the Brummies will have free access to Warwickshire County Championship cricket matches whilst Warwickshire members will be able to attend speedway fixtures at Perry Barr in a reciprocal agreement. So regardless of which sport you like to watch, you could just buy the cheaper season ticket then? But realistically fans would probably want to support their "own" team.

  43. https://www.birmingham-speedway.com/news.php?extend.3579 Thinking long term, has anyone ever built a speedway track around the outside of a cricket pitch? It might have the bends of a long track circuit, but you won't have the problem of straights being too long 😄

  45. As & when he thinks Will is good enough, then the Lions team manager will make every effort to sign him, most probably alongside a number of other like minded TM’s

  46. In a moment of madness, I've taken the plunge. A few confirmations already, so have added to the list. Please feel free to comment any other confirmed signings/averages and I'll keep the list up to date. List is on the assumption these teams will all come to tapes this year & no new additions to Championship. Will update as we go along 😊
