Can you both disappear back to the Poole thread, don't want this pathetic rubbish on here.5 points

Lions manager Stewart Dickson’s Rider of the Year was Sam Masters, whilst skipper Max Fricke took the Supporters’ Club award. Luke Becker, who along with Richard Lawson, was racing in Germany on Saturday, was named as Most Improved Rider. What planet are people on? Surely Lawson wins rider of the season ! And becker most improved? HE dropped half a point on his average . Totally mind boggling4 points

Wherever he ends up he should be encouraged rather than vilified a young kid who clearly has talent but a raw talent. Starting a thread questioning if a young kid is dangerous is over the top.4 points

OK, if the grown-ups can have this thread back, the interesting news from today is that Eastbourne are submitting an application to join the NDL next season, staging home matches at Iwade. I do wonder what sort of response they'll get.3 points

Crashfield 😂, did you come up with that yourself 👏🏻, have a wee gold star for your clever wit and banter. Why would Glasgow buy another new fence when they've already bought FIM safety Fence for the 2025 season? Back to the playground and try and pick up some better 'banter' , least be bitter and funny rather than just bitter and attention seeking.2 points

Anyone out there like myself love to watch a 4 team tournament. Seem to be sadly lost in the calendar. Possibly now only seen in a testimonial meeting. So who is in favour of the return of this format in a meeting. I suggest in the league have one home and away fixture with each club. Then do a four team tournament where each club visits one another home and away. Also keep the ko cup to be finalised at the end of the season. Now there is three trophies up for grabs. More interest and excitement to bring to the sport.1 point

Not a great weather forecast for Poole on Wednesday. Always a risk with these early winter meetings. As for the result , think Winnie Fooord won it last week by taking out 2 Oxford riders. Seems he has literally KO'd Killeen out of the KO Cup. 😞 So a hollow Poole victory is on the cards ...assuming they can find a dry Wednesday befor the end of October.1 point

How very sad. Len was one of the true PROMOTERS of speedway. A decent rider in his younger days - Provincial League Riders Champion - injury meant Len taking up the Promoter reins at Hackney. As a PROMOTER he had no equal, and we will not see his like again in the sport. He always put 100% into PROMOTING his clubs from his early days at Hackney through to his construction and Promotion at Sittingbourne. R.I.P. Leapin' Len and Thank You for providing me with some great Speedway Entertainment over the past 60 + years.1 point

I would get rid of Fricke after his performance in the final. Bring in a proper number 1 like Artem Laguta. Somebody who excels in play-off matches.1 point

Haven't seen them posted apart from a filled out program on the Kent speedway Facebook page, looked like it was 47/43 to Thurrock on that.1 point

Best riders Belle Vue have recently snapped up Brady 7.50 Ben 6.00 Max 4.80 Jaimon 4.00 Tom 4.00 Norick 4.00 Dan 3.00. The fact most weren’t interested in them at the time we signed them made it easier for us to “snap them up”.1 point

Bailey has put all of his equipment up for sale and it would be madness to put Zischke in the 1-5 with no top league experience and with him returning from a big injury. 40.00 limit and the team picks itself. Kurtz, Bewley, Lidsey, Blodorn, Zischke & Mulford (RS) + Z. Cook/Rew/Ellis at No.4 (Ipswich will keep King imo)1 point

I seriously have no idea what you’re even talking about anymore. all we’re doing is predicting what the team might be, it’s not that deep1 point
-
You won't win anything next season with those 2 reserves what ever the points limit is. Heavy reliance on the top 5 to score 40+ and the middle order (especially after Zischke's injury) is unreliable. I'd go as far as to say, that 7 is horrific1 point

JCB back on board for 2025. Judging by the awards night and what Dickson has said already, It's likely Fricke, Masters, Lawson and Becker will be the backbone of the team.1 point

I agree, I know one rider don’t make a team. But his scoring power at both tracks will be missed badly and result in a Poole win on both tracks this time1 point

2024 Polish Ekstraliga averages Amazingly, no less than FIVE out of the top eight Ekstraliga riders will not be in the SGP next year (Laguta, Madsen, Kolodziej, Sayfutdinov and Jepsen Jensen)1 point

You’d have imagined him being listed in Oxford’s line-up would have been the answer….then again, we’re talking about Peter Shroeck.1 point

Yes both a bit reckless but entertaining when on track Rob senior was the better rider of the two tho imo1 point

I would be surprised if we end up with only one Holder. Thought the 2 came as a package1 point

you carry on being a miserable sod as ever, meanwhile the people who actually go to lynn will carry on enjoying their nights out and be happy about life 👍1 point
-
So from the chit chat in the Panorama Room at the Woffinden talk last night the latest Sheffield news was Woffinden, Pickering and Rowe in the 2025 team with Pickering given the captain role. Assuming with that then one of the Holder’s is going and Howarth also, shame on both counts as Holder’s would have at least kept their average and Howarth a steal on his average team building wise as can easily improve that1 point

More than doubling the attendance i wouldnt say is achievable. Knocking a £5 off it maybe would work if you encouraged people to spend money there/actually promoted the sport1 point

They were gonna try that with the jubilee league, but changed their mind, probably because they thought they wouldn't get a good crowd for a neutral venue. I don't think 1st & 2nd would be happy that everyone gets an extra home match except them!1 point

I tend to agree with this complainant. I think the Speedway Star is gradually concentrating more and more on the Continental scene at the expense of British news. I think it's still a decent read but there are increasing parts of the magazine such as the "Polish Scene" and the Grasstrack news, that I never read.1 point

Didn't Sheffield win this after heat 12 but nobody seemed to realise, Ippo had 73 to Tigers 89 with only 15 points still available to Ippo1 point
