Just amazing speedway from Poland again... Can't ask for much more than that from any sporting contest... All played out in front of a huge crowd too to add the atmosphere....5 points

Done exactly this for my parents last year, got them a smart TV and BSN is simple to find on the web browser, my only complaint and be it a small one is that sometimes for some unknown reason it will log itself out so have to sign back in again every now and then, and my parents who are both in their early 80's ain't quite grasped the art of signing back in or using the QR code as an option to sign in, luckily im only a 5 min drive away so I'll just quickly pop round and sign them back in, and finally the BSN coverage is like night and day compared to what Eurosport normally dish upš¤Ø3 points

Unfortunately āthe set up ā is more and more important these days to the point now where even in British speedway if you donāt have it close you wonāt even be competitive and thatās sad2 points

Well I guess thatās the best we could really do. Danny needs to improve from recent form. Bomber a fair replacement for Ben at home. Just like the premier league, the playoffs are being affected by injuries. The injury to Ben couldnāt have come at a worse time and clearly affects us. Think itās the first time he has been out since joining us. Can only do the best we can and hope itās enough. Best of luck to Danny and Bomber.2 points

Don't forget running around getting parts and picking up and dropping off riders at airports etc , picking up and dropping engines off at the tuner,I can definitely say it's turned into a full time job and the money unless your very lucky to work for a generous rider isn't that great and holding down a regular job is very difficult when your getting home from meetings very late at night . When I did it my annual leave soon got used up and I lost money over the years not to mention the time apart from the family especially if you have children that during the season you hardly see. It's not for everyone, young, free and single with no financial commitment is who it suits nowadays. IMO.2 points

Not technical at all, all you have to do is change a tyre, check tyre pressure, turn a wheel, change sprocket and chain links, adjust ignition and maybe change a jet size and fuel up, thatās pretty much everything you do at a meeting, in a workshop you just strip parts, wash bike and parts and reassemble, checking nothing has broke, bent or worn, strip carb, wash it and reassemble, adjusting arm setting with dial gauge, very rarely mechanic will touch engine settings, you might check tappet gaps but no exactly rocket science, you have to work quick these days but mostly you are at the riders instructions but If you have riding experience you can give your input, it helps to know what changes will do like jetting/gearing etc but you pick these things up as you go along itās my opinion you could go from an average Joe to become a fully competent mechanic in one season, itās pretty basic mechanics, one thing that has to learnt is trust, the rider must trust you 100%2 points

They could add Sheffield in to make a three team final.... More away fans at every match... Like they successfully did with the Jubilee C..... Oh, hang on, never mind, as you were...2 points
-
My Mrs is a stoke city season ticket holder for her sins and stoke subsidise quite a lot of the away travel to matches, some of the matches are practically free and also reduced ticket prices at a a lot of the games, Friday night 7 of the family went to the home game with hull and 4 of them went free, I didnāt go as I had painted a wall and needed to watch it dry but it basically is the sort of thing speedway should do, maybe not all the time but certainly to playoff and TV meetings2 points

I always wondered why league 1 and 2 teams could take 20 - 30,000 fans to the Wembley play offs when their average home gate is between 3-4,000, š2 points

All smart TVs have a web browser, go to watch.britishspeedway.co.uk You will see a QR code, open your camera on your phone, you will be prompted to log in via your phone, your TV will then show the BSN site! Some other top tips: the square icon bottom right makes it full screen. On the race card under the video panel if you click on a heat it will take you to that heat. Right at the bottom on the left there is always a link to download a free race card in case you want to print it off and fill it in as you go! Thanks for the nice comments all and enjoy the playoffs!2 points

Possibly although he is based and works for Allied in Glasgow, if he is going to consider a return either Club would be a good fit. I agree though Workington would be a good choice to regain his mojo but I wouldnāt be against a Glasgow return either. Whatever he decides hopefully regaining his confidence and enthusiasm for the sport sees him return next season.2 points

You don't need 1000 punters to turn up "extra".. Over 12 meetings of the season, you just need less than 100 to NOT give each week a miss... Which is what clearly happens now..1 point

As somebody who squeezed into Brandon to watch the double header league decider vs Hull & Leicester I can attest that pay offs are not needed to completely fill a speedway stadium1 point

Doyle absolutely. If, and a big if, Emil and Artem come back, that leaves 1. Has to be Michelson surely.1 point
-
So why contradict yourself? If you want the "best", then Doyle certainly should be there. Or was that just a fluke the way he started the season?1 point

If you look at kings scores at Oxford they have been better than cook this season and bomber in the playoffs always delivers a big performance as he did last season for Glasgow when he dominated the Poole ht leaders so the only effect imo is it's made Poole stronger.1 point

Lambert is trying to earn a living and like everyone else he will be trying to maximise his income in what will be a relatively short career. Your reference to be being British and supporting the sport in this country is laughable. Loyalty went out of the window long ago, with riders and club owners both at fault, but clubs being the worst culprits and able to axe riders at the drop of a hat.1 point

For such a small production it is a class act.Hits all the right notes regarding Riders interaction and pits stuff.Have to say guest riders Rory and Sedgy are superb at summarising the action track without shouting their head off.1 point

They will have who they want. No-one will be exempted. This is Speedway. This is Poole Poole are run by one of the 4 Management Committee Members; Oxford are NOT. The Cabal will meet, the Blue and White smoke will be spotted above the roofs of Rugby. Vatcher will be called in to adjudicate on behalf of the Cabal - erm sorry CCB - Cabal Control Board. He will pronounce forthwith- "The Rules are the Rules until the Rules are unfair Rules for those that make the Rules therefore on this occasion the rule makers have trashed the Rules and made new temporary Rules for the good of the Cabal (stet - Sport)...."1 point

Tatum and Louis all talk about the track developing after the first few follow the leader races so the material is purposely left to be flung to the outside of the tracks and graded in place rather than pulled about over the rest of the track. Once the inside is dead slick you can't pull the material down onto it. They need to grade the tracks more often than every 4 races to stop the build up but it seems that's what everyone wants, or is it? I remember the Huggy days at Lynn, grading with 2 tractors after every race ....1 point
