But that makes no sense, they would've just called it off at 5pm if that was the case. Calling it off at start time is the refs decision not the home promotions9 points

I’d be embarrassed to win a meeting that way. Let’s hope Turnball retires this season. She’s clearly lost it.7 points

Actually I'm not but don't let facts get in the way. Go do one little prick.6 points

Turnbull wanting her TV moment clearly. Quite possibly the worst ref call I’ve ever seen.6 points

Poole come to Workington on Saturday afternoon with a big 14 point lead to defend which will prove very difficult for the Comets to overhaul. It will need a massive effort from all the Comets and guests to make it past the Pirates who on their last visits to Workington have won easily and got a draw. Call out to all Worky fans get down to the Northside Arena on Saturday and support the lads.5 points

I would suggest that everyone needs to use this email address, it won’t change the result but something needs to be done about the ref’s decisions tonight. If you can post your frustration here copy and paste it into an email and just press send. I am not a supporter of either of tonight’s teams and feel the meeting was decided in the worst possible way by an inept referee. They said on tv even the Leicester riders couldn’t believe Rew’s exclusion. SCB chair: jim.lawrence@scbgb.co.uk5 points

The Leicester number 8 Turnball should get the rider of the night award5 points

If this was a football match she would be investigated for match fixing and locked up5 points

I have just sent an email to the BSPA on the disgraceful refereeing decisions tonight. There have some absolutely diabolical decisions tonight.I've seen awful decisions before but not so many in one meeting.I hope she gets a ban which i said should happen at the least.Good luck Ipswich, from a loyal King's Lynn fan.5 points

Just going to put this out there for some context regarding Danny King Firstly he is 38 he isn’t going to get better so those of you expecting that are clueless We went very strong top two and signed the best 2 reserves in the league…. This meant the middle order would be weaker … we signed Rew back and then 2 guys who would provide middle order stability in Ellis and King…. Danny had the slightly higher average so rode at number 3…. A position he held until we lost Doyle which meant he got moved to 5 and he isn’t a number 5 Nobody started moaning about him until after we lost Emil … some fans thinking he should get double figures every week…. He was never signed to do that He has rode the season with a terrible hand injury and now a foot injury He has had some good meetings and some awful ones but he is not the rider he was He may well leave and i think he should but the abuse he has been getting is uncalled for4 points

You don't need to be experienced to look at a monitor, (several times), see Max Fricke lift and wipe out an opponent, and then exclude him... Nor need to be experienced to see the same thing happen in two races, and make the same decision on the second occasion that you made previously... It is glaring you in the face in slow motion several times... I am truly amazed that anyone could make so many, not even close decisions, so poorly... Especially given you get the chance to watch them back as many times as you need to...4 points

And it has stopped... But, unlike her, it will be right twice today..4 points

Danny King is a great bloke and has been a top servant for British Speedway for many years. But he is now pushing 40 and time is finally catching up with his racing career. Think his last season for Poole was he last top season and in the last three years there has been a slow but steady decline. He does have a top meeting in him now and then but too often this season he has stinkers, and tonight was one of them. Would be surprised if next year he just does Championship racing.4 points

Whatever happens Ipswich fans should be proud of there team.4 points

So glad that Tatum & Stead can laugh about this, supposed to be the pinnacle point of the season and they put an incompetent referee in charge. Let her referee the other semi and see how Stead reacts then4 points
-
As a neutral I actually think the opposite. The racing is dire so the incidents and the terrible ref decisions are adding something to the meeting.4 points
-
Correct decision re Becker but this is has been absolute BS tonight, and she has totally ruined the match. A total farce. Hawkins needs to appeal regardless of the result IMO.4 points
-
F**k me!!!! She must have pressed the wrong button!!!!!4 points

Never the same on a rerun. Ipswich completely thrown this away with falls. The ref has been poor but Leicester were there for the taking.4 points
-
Got to blame Dan Thompson there, as the experienced rider he shouldn’t have been pushing king so hard in tricky conditions4 points

Makes you wish the likes of the late, great Alan Wilkinson was still around riding.. If he got excluded like that, it would have made great telly...😀4 points

Racism isn't funny. It's funny how you can pick out the most notable black female MP. Why not talk about Liz Truss or Boris Johnson?4 points

I wish they would give up on that 'camera on board' business. We are missing the big picture while looking at the muddy track!!!!4 points

Your point b) is wrong. Ipswich would have benefitted tremendously from having the second week, because there would be a greater chance of Sayfutdinov being available, which means more feet on terraces. As it was they had to stage two home meetings in five days, with a stockcar meeting in between. If Louis & Hawkins agreed to that it was either begrudgingly (most likely) or stupidly. PS: The attendance on Monday was awful for a Play-off Semi-Final - it looked poor compared to a league match. Season Ticket holders had to pay for the Cup Final and the Play-Off … I think a lot of people (season ticket holders or not) either couldn’t afford or weren’t prepared to pay for both. Therefore, there was absolutely no sense in Ipswich agreeing to those dates.4 points

lets cut to the chase if Leicester don't win on aggregate it's one hell of a lost opportunity...Leicester should be winning this in a absolute canter.4 points

Ipswich cost themselves points with various falls etc. but the standout element of the night was the truly dreadful refereeing! I think she needs to watch it back when she gets home and then realise it is time to hand in her licence because that refereeing performance was an absolute disgrace!! Come on Christina - if that's the best you can do in such a crucial meeting then do the right thing and pack it in! We should all be talking about the meeting not the refereeing!3 points

You can’t have rew, kvech and king come off as much as they did and think you’re going to win. We didn’t do well enough, granted the ref should have excluded Fricke and other bad decisions, but we had enough to beat Leicester, they certainly didn’t look anything special. Brennan talking like he already signed a contract for us next season is a plus! He done well, no grudges against him finishing last, he basically kept us in it until heat 15. Thompson has come on again this season, so has Jenkins. We have completed an entire season without Doyle, a cup final and play offs without Emil. When Emil was injured I gave up on the season. It sucks how it has finished with this disappointing meeting, but part of me breathes a sigh of relief this season is over!3 points

Who’s actually giving her such big meetings. She’s truly dreadful and not got a clue what she’s doing. Getting basic decisions wrong which may have an effect on the tie.3 points
-
Another thing about televised meetings that they are so drawn out with seemingly no regard for the spectators watching live.3 points
-
Plus I'd much rather it was called off beforehand. If they raced one heat and then decided to abandon it, we'd have all got a £9 refund as opposed to a ticket for the re-staging/full refund. Right call in my opinion.3 points

The only things I saw stated that these dated were reserved for playoffs, no mention of which were which. Yet more conspiracy theories about the playoffs being 'fixed' with no evidence to back it up. Personally, I'm just looking forward to enjoying the racing. Enough stress in life without getting too wound up about this. It's only a gameshow. 😉3 points

Just caught up on this meeting. Well done Ipswich, I hope they hold on to the lead. Leicester were poor. Ipswich are so severely weakened it’s a great result for them.3 points
