King needs to go for next season. Only beat Leon flint once. always fails to deliver when most needed. Completely unaware of the opposition who pass him easily yet goes out of his way to stop a faster team mate passing. hopeless at team riding and never looks for his teammates. been a great servant to Ipswich for many years but the time is right for a new challenge.5 points

That track at Sheffield used to be a great race track, but the air fence as narrowed it off but not slowed it down. They also need to drag the dirt back off the fence, only half of the track is used the racing is rubbish follow the leader all round the fence. Also its a danger for riders out on the fence Emils crash Holders crash and Lindseys crash all caused with riders chasing dirt four feet from the fence. Come on Sheffield sort the track out so all of it can be used3 points

Bit of a piss take he’s fit to ride at bv a few hours earlier but can’t do the evening meeting, you’re either fit enough to do both meetings or don’t do either.3 points

I have to agree production quality this year has been very poor with awful camerawork, bad vision mixing and poor directing The article below has a crucial statement saying that the broadcaster Eurosport had asked the OB provider to cut costs which they have done they are using an older OB truck with old cameras which is showing on screen with bad pictures , less experienced staff using Uni students for some roles but that’s what you get when you cut the budgets so much https://www.svgeurope.org/blog/headlines/experimenting-with-power-cloudbass-pushing-the-boundaries-of-sustainable-production-on-speedway-with-tesla-powerwall-batteries/3 points

How can Lidsey be pulled back but then Howarth isn’t, no consistency3 points

C’mon Mods, why the need for this rank progress? It’s not a competition on how many times people post. I rarely do now as sensible posts can often lead to insulting confrontation by the usual suspects. You can view the sign ins and reads. You’re just opening it up to Trackprats. There are many good posters on this forum, focus on weeding out the planks.2 points

Tatum making the same mistake AGAIN saying the top team choose their opponent! He said this in the last televised meeting and was actually informed he was wrong and he corrected himself live on air! And yet he’s saying the wrong thing again.2 points

Birmingham is better track than Sheffield. Sheffield is non existent for racing and it's a one line track that's dangerous at times as well. Lidsey fell in the same place as Emil did.2 points

Did anybody see the highlights from Brum on the Discovery stream also? Covered in buggy overlay graphics so you could hardly see the racing. So unprofessional - BSN do indeed put them to shame, on a fraction of the budget.2 points

it's a re-accurance from his injury earlier in the season ligament damage he was limping badly in the pits !!2 points

Totally agree King needs to go, constantly goes missing when the chips are down & won’t team ride for toffee.1 point

Yes but that’s because they aren’t guesting? They are part of a team that has officially got into the play offs, so contractually they have to represent their official team, not from teams who failed to qualify but still want to participate.1 point

Absolutely. Still, as a Leicester fan I don't often get to moan at anyone else's track, so...😁1 point

Fell riding for Krosno yesterday, the same meeting Kurtz seemed to come through unscathed🤔😁1 point

Sheffield must be licking their lips for next week and the fact they will take the first trophy of the season that’s available! I wonder if other fans genuinely feel like it’s a shame we don’t have Emil and Doyle so everyone can see some amazing racing and feeling like you’ve beaten our full team, tai and holder, Kurtz and Bewley, fricke and Lawson… if these were all missing I’d feel slightly deflated beating that team knowing it isn’t really their team. But, you can only beat what’s in front of you and this is speedway so I’m not sorry for myself! Haha1 point

Basso gets banned when he has to follow the laws that Polland lays down.Treat everyone the same that's fair imo.1 point

You know Kurtz has a pass... as seemingly does Tungate, unless The Weasel is on his holidays1 point

The Tv coverage/camerawork has gone downhill, sky much better even when they first started 20+ years ago, so much for progress.1 point

The official notations are on page 122 of the SCB Regulations. "E" is definitely a starting offence. Failure to meet the 2 mins is shown as "N2" - it does not count as a ride. I believe that a starting offence is the 'ultimate' sanction, so if a rider has already been excluded, any subsequent movement results in a warning, which then carries on from that heat, e.g. a rider could be warned in their first ride, excluded in their second, warned in their third, excluded in their fourth.1 point

Brilliant track, brilliant presentation and a brilliant meeting, if i was to say anything negative itd be pure nit picking. Really is such a great place and should be the example set for all clubs. Felt like we did well to keep it as close as what it was, pickering being the real standout who as of late judt seems to have stepped up another level. Should be an interesting meeting at Owlerton tonight1 point

Gone with Picko over and ex 9 @ 1.90 and 5.50. Will have at least 5 rides, and is on fire. GL if having a bet.1 point

Please don't tar Wiktor with the same brush as Piotr - absolutely no comparison - Wiktor does actually try!! By all accounts he looked unwell yesterday.1 point

Return leg on Sept 6th. Looks like KO cup takes priority over BSN!1 point

A decent "ish" crowd I would think as it is a BHM.. 700, 750 or even more?.. Most who were going to attend will go anyway, just to watch the racing.. The make up of the teams isn't a barrier to the die hard fans, as they are well used to "made up' meetings.. And a BHM usually attracts a few "extras" who visit now and again..1 point
