Only if teams agree to use their alternative race nights when racing fellow Friday nighters AND NDL fixtures are staged on their own separate nights and don't block Championship meetings.4 points

Berwick completed 8 league fixtures on 10th August against Worky and still had gaps in their home fixtures of up to a month. Not great by any means. 16 meetings with good fixture planning should be quite achievable.4 points

No chance over 2 legs. Torun need to be going for lucky loser, but Grudziadz I'd make Favs for that. Massive loss is Sayfutdinov. 😒3 points

Mainly because his average hasn't changed much! Gone from 5.18 to 5.17. whereas Tobi's average is gone down half a point. Interesting that Sam gets all the criticism though 🤔3 points

I do enjoy the polish commentary even though I don’t understand it and on the extraleague coverage you get a fair few interviews in English as a lot of the riders speak it, as I’ve polish tv I find myself watching a lot of speedway documentaries which they show even though I don’t understand what they are saying, I should really learn the language I would probably enjoy it more lol3 points

Well done to Lebedevs he is definitely improving this year, used to think he was danger on track ,but liking him these days certainly a brave and hard rider.3 points

To be fair we’ve been without Piotr all season - so no great loss. Hope he gets a lengthy ban for his trouble though!2 points

Strangely sometimes I do watch polish coverage over English, like if both show GPs I will often watch polish2 points

When you watch live speedway you don’t get a commentary,so just watching the Ekstraliga with the sound mute is fine by me.The screenshots tell you the riders and all the details after the race.!2 points

C’mon Mods, why the need for this rank progress? It’s not a competition on how many times people post. I rarely do now as sensible posts can often lead to insulting confrontation by the usual suspects. You can view the sign ins and reads. You’re just opening it up to Trackprats. There are many good posters on this forum, focus on weeding out the planks.1 point

Zdenek Kudrna. You asked for one choice so here it is. Shame some others didn't bother to read the first post, eh. 🤨1 point

Poole certainly can "get away with that type of performance in the play offs" as they don't need to win away to become Champions. Having a difficult night & keeping it close works fine in two legged affairs.1 point

Probably 3 different screens for the 3 matches.1 point

It’s probably better than Kelvin shouting how dangerous the move is if one rider gets close to another during the race.1 point

Need a 4 & 5 next season to give the team a balanced look about it. I could see NKI or King at Brum next season if it's true about KL potentially not running, Ipswich will have to get rid of King if they go for Kvech imo because you'd think Emil and Doyle are locks if they want to return. 1. Lindgren 2. Z. Cook 3. Brennan 4. 5. 6. Lampart 7. Flint (RS)1 point

Yes, I saw him ride when the Lions visited Dudley Wood in 1969. He only got 1 point from 3 rides. but an average of 4.88 in his debut season suggests he would have been a bigger success if he'd returned to these shores. Best remembered I suppose as a member of that 1969 Leicester line up that were all ever presents in the British League.1 point

I prefer the Polish commentary for the races. I don't need someone telling me what I can see and they get proper excited. I watch the premier league football in foreign languages too, I despise "so called" experts explaining the bleedin obvious. Maybe it's just me, but commentary is in whatever sport overhype. 😊1 point

SEC coverage is available in English via Fanseat. Dave Rowe's research into the event (and any other meetings that he voices) puts some other UK commentators to shame. His updates on the meeting stats are spot on too. I wonder what software he uses! 😁1 point

Not to my knowledge, but apparently Sheffield have put Brennan down for both meetings in the line-up submitted to the referee(?) Perhaps they've since realised their cock-up, hence the reason neither team seems to have put out full lineups yet.1 point

"I stopped contributing to live speedway a while back". So how do you feel able to criticise events that you do not witness? Wonderful things, keyboards!1 point

If official car parks are sold out and you don't fancy street parking, then I have booked parking at the Asda Longsight store before. About a 10 - 15 min walk. I used the Just Park app to book. Another option if you need one1 point

Holder, Woffinden, Musielak, Kerr, Vissing, Gilkes was a pretty bad run for Sheffield last year.1 point

Congratulations to you and the rest of the team, as a full pass holder i think BSN is a great product and excellent value for money1 point

We’ve covered 28 Championship meetings so far - 3 from every venue apart from Glasgow, plus 2 major events (Championship League Pairs and British U21 Final).1 point

That's my point. Whilst I don't think it's possible to deliver 200 balls in 15 minutes what natural gaps they have are minimised to the extent that there's mostly always something going on. For a sport which has speed in its name the pace of meetings certainly doesn't live up to the title. Always bemused me when a meeting starts to get some momentum there'll be an interval. For what purpose exactly? If a meeting can be run in 75 minutes dont stretch it out to 150 minutes. Unless you have some other content to fill the gaps... other than track grading.1 point

The only real answer would be a binding contract which riders should sign to confirm that they will be available for all British fixtures which should be enforceable in law, and with financial penalties for non-compliance, but even then, it would be virtually impossible for clubs to successfully challenge the fact the a medical certificate is inaccurate. Any rider could always say that even though he has been declared unfit, it is still his personal choice of whether he rides or not. In other words, I am saying that there is no foolproof way of dealing with this problem, other than a total ban on foreign nationals riding for British Clubs. Again, technically illegal and unenforceable if individual clubs challenged it. So we are back to square one - I don't know of an answer to this!1 point

Agreed. It might be tough to start with but British speedway would survive.1 point
