  1. To correct you, I am the track curator in question, I went as a spectator, just to watch the meeting, I arrived about 5pm straight from work with no intention of doing anything, the track was being watered at that time, nearer to start time it was clearly drying out fast, it was also clear it would need watering during the meeting, you can not put water on a slick part of the track as it makes it like ice, as john was on his own I offered to help if needed, I graded after ht4, ht,7 ht11, so I find your accusation that I had an influence on the out come of the meeting offensive. I was told the track had been constantly been watered from Sunday, and all throughout Monday, I would also add many track curators know each other and it's not unusual for them to help each other out from time to time.

  2. Who would have thought a Public Forum would get so many Snowflakes Programme Boards in a tizzy! A 2 pointer not scoring 2 pointsisn't causing any team to lose, that's down to the other 6 experienced riders to score above their averages. The re jig in the averages was to allow British riders to come into the CL for the future of the sport in the UK. A few things of note if I may Ace was achieving above 2 points and was victim of the Numbers game, now it's a case of this ones better that ones not based on NL averages - perhaps some riders NL average (Harrison for example) is lower because he's used the National DEVELOPMENT League to figure out what he needs set up wise to be able to score in the CL and it isn't all about winning heats in the NDL for him. Starkey comes in and problem solved apparently, what happens when he moves into main body and struggles to score there? Imagine McGurk riding at number 7 whilst CL is there and he has the outside gates and struggles, he goes to number 6 and bingo wins heat 2(after being moved to the inside gate). Wind your necks in a bit the days of 2 pointers scoring 5,6,7 or 8s is long gone and it's up to the other 6 to allow them the time to Develope. Also note Harrison had part Season no pressure at Redcar in 2023 where he could find his feet at CL, McGurk, Perry,Hodder are in same position this Season Harrison was last year- maybe some even have 2 year Deals to allow them time! 2 Home 2 Away no cups next Season and you won't see the same teams against each other 15 times in 5 weeks with some having 16 meetings a season and others 20 plus. It's not rocket science it's Speedway and a public forum, even for the snowflakes

  4. Personally I'd like to see more development series individuals. Maybe for 2025, teams that don't race in the NDL have to hold a device series individual.

  5. You can't have been there, since your description of Tate's crash is completely wrong. Nothing to do with a wide line, nor dirt near the fence. Rew was on the inside of Zischke and got out of shape and hit Zischke, straightening him up. Nothing intentional from Rew, just a racing accident, and nothing to do with the wide line and nothing to do with dirt near the fence. And if you'd ever been to NSS you'd know it's the complete opposite to a one-line follow-the-leader track.

  6. I think he has this new injury that stops you riding in the U.K but not in Poland, Sweden, or Denmark.

  8. Yes, although the only Championship guesting was Bomber for Workington last week. Everything else was Premiership.

  10. He scored 7 from 5 rides including two duck eggs around the NSS a couple of weeks back. He looked far quicker there in the Speedway of Nations though so you have to ask the question, how much is he putting in to the league meetings for Birmingham? He now has an actual average of 7 and a half, pretty poor for a rider of his quality.

  11. Tarasenko, musielak and Basso. Thatā€™s dreadful luck or maybe a common denominator of somebody or something thatā€™s upsetting those riders. Hmmmm

  12. Basso suspended for 28 days for not turning up at Belle Vue last night. And so it goes on.
