So in one move Buster has managed to take the pi$$ out of Lynn fans and every track they visit whilst also ensuring the whole league structure is weakened by blocking a rider joining a team that will be in the showcase finals This sort of situation could jeopardise the future of TV deals and therefore the very future of the sport The sooner he disappears the better8 points

Comment by Cami on the Glasgow FB page. "We feel sick. The referee has cost us another meeting again. We are absolutely scunnered" The referee didn't cost you the meeting "Jack Smith was in front of Baek in Heat 5 and she said Jack wiped him out which was a lot of nonsense" If ref excluded Baek, Glasgow have 2 more points. "Then Jordan was winning Heat 14 by a mile and James falls off. The referee then re-runs it after three laps despite Jordan being well ahead" Why should the ref give Glasgow the benefit of the doubt when their own riders fell off? "The race is re-run. Baek falls and the race should have been stopped then. But he actually hit Jordan who then lifts and careers into Joe Thompson. Then she puts both Plymouth riders back in the race" Heard different versions of this, but wouldn't have changed the result. "I also asked her about Ben Barker clearly moving at the start of Heat 11 but she said she didn’t see anything. I said she could look at the replays on TV but she wouldn’t" Can understand why he's unhappy, but if the ref didn't see anything, do they need to look at the replays just because a team manager wants them to? “But she looked at the replays of Heat 14 three or four times" I'm guessing the ref thought it needed another look & wanted to make she she'd made the correct decision. "We should have gone into Heat 15 in a last heat decider at 42 each" No you wouldn't, because the heat 12 5-1 with Harris as a tac sub wouldn't have happened. "We would have won that meeting tonight without those poor decisions" Nope, not true "We never gave in all night. I waited to do the tactical substitute and that paid off" As explained earlier, wouldn't have been able to do a tac sub of Smith wasn't excluded. I wonder if Cami would've gotten the blame for not using a tac sub the one time they had a chance? "It’s a long way down for bad refereeing decisions to cost us the match" It's a long way down for your own riders to cost you the match.5 points

Probably not but with announcing tate's signing it means other teams have missed out on signing a potential GP star of the future2 points

With the amount of fixtures it is hardly an achievement. The League structure needs serious review.Lots of riders are blaming lack of fixtures for their loss of form( hardly riding for weeks).Where does this “end or August deadline “ come from.?2 points

No tears here - a league title is close to worthless now as it is but is constantly further devalued by each and every action such as this I'm not looking at it as a Witches fan but rather as a Speedway fan. There isn't much time left to get this right before it's beyond saving2 points

From your 2 posts I assume you've not heard of the butterfly effect? I'll assume no seen as you're assumptions that each result would've followed the previous one or that it will follow the result you've decided it will be. Heat 15 for example what motivation did Edwards and bomber have? Just been shafted can't win the meeting and bonus was secure. Given they'd the better of barker and Thompson all night you'd think with motivation a 1-5 would not have been the result. Anyway I'm sure you'll have some smart ass I know better than you response lined up but I've made my point2 points

Do you think ivacic was a cheap deal? If weren't assed would've let it slide. Granted it's made us worse but would be a big outlay to bring him over get visa etc2 points

Looking at the updates, the result would almost certainly have been the same if the controversial decisions were called the other way. Heat 5: Baek excluded instead of Smith 4-2 to Glasgow, meeting now tied 15-15. So after heat 11 the score would now be 35-31 Heat 12, no tac sub allowed, so 3-3 (Pearson 4th instead of Harris 1st) score is 38-34. Heat 14: Baek excluded for not being under power when Jenkins falls, 3-0 to Plymouth. Score is now 43-38. Final score 48-39 instead of 49-40. Glasgow cam blame the ref for being poor, but not for costing them the match.2 points

Surely the most imperative aspect of next seasons team building is getting Dickson back as TM after the outstanding job hes done this season and then making Jye captain for life.1 point

It hurts!! Unconfirmed reports suggest he might need an op. I've asked Dan but not replied as yet.1 point

Maybe the injury only hurts on the smaller technical tracks in the uk !!!! Or the cheque has bounced and I’m not talking about bo brhel1 point

Not to mention all the blank racedays that were perfect for speedway surely they could all been done and dusted if clubs hadn't had any blank racedays.1 point

Bearing in mind their location, I think the Berwick promotion should be applauded for getting all their home fixtures in within the 'end-of-August' deadline. I wish certain other clubs would take note. Its hardly their fault that the team has been blighted by serious rider injuries.1 point

Maybe he got a 28 day ban from disclosing the contract info?.. Must admit, I did read the SS interview on, I think, the Sunday, where he couldnt wait to return... And by the Tuesday he wasn't coming back...!! A strange situation.. But, it is UK Speedway where you can get banned for not getting paid and, therefore, "witholding your services" when you (quite understandably), decide, "sod this lark".... It is ran "uniquely" as a team sport (in the UK)...1 point

Very poor way to end a very poor season. The management/promotion now have around seven months to put things right before Berwick return in 2025. Hopefully.1 point

The joy of Troy !!!! And he probably wonders why the phone hasn’t rung from the premiership unbelievable behaviour from someone who has ridden at the very highest level in the sport. So unprofessional.1 point

Re the Baek incident in heat 14, this was right in front of us and I had a perfect view. Jenkins 100% took Baek’s leg out as he dive bombed into turn 3, so it was definitely the right decision. Jenkins then lost control, partly as a result of that clash, and had to put the bike down, unfortunately in front of Joe who could do nothing but run over him. It looked horrendous from up close and whatever the result, I was just glad to see them all walk off the track. The Smith exclusion around heat 4-5 however was very harsh on Glasgow! First/second bend and little (if any) contact!1 point

Heeps is really Oxford's 3rd heat leader. As Boughen has struggled recently, I'd be moving him to number 2. Sadly finding the Poole / Scunthorpe / Oxford clashes with each other as the least interesting of the season in terms of results, no matter what happens all 3 will be in the play-offs.1 point

Somebody needs to tell McGurk that the race finishes at the line not the exit of the last bend1 point

Genuinely can't understand this tactic of only giving Pearson 1 ride in first 7 heats then have him in virtually every heat thereafter. Fine at home but away tracks going to change from heat 2 to heat 8. Imo should've been in heat 4 and Scott taken Smith's 3rd or 4th ride.1 point

It was totally bizarre to watch. As Comets Captain he was doing the coin toss on BSN, was chewing gum, making yawning actions while Lewis Kerr was being interviewed, giving one word answers to questions, dropped an f- bomb and then just walked off!1 point

People are talking about this particular meeting though, not historically. And the fact remains that leaving a huge pile up of dirt on the outside was dangerous, and poor from the Sheffield track staff.1 point

Awesome meeting tonight, two top sides going hammer and tong, whats not to like?! Massive shout out to the Poole fans on turn 1 (NID Corner I believe they call themselves) - made plenty of noise and atmosphere and it was a pleasure to be around them - an absolute credit to the club1 point

The signing of Kerr could have been done 3 weeks ago which would have allowed musielak to join another British club if he so wished. obviously done to prevent him getting another club very much like Buster hung batchelor and holder out to dry. this is one reason why maybe it’s difficult to attract riders.1 point

Maybe the bandits and Stewart Dickson will do us a favour and beat the Comets home and away1 point

You use the words "glorified amateur racing" may i suggest glorified professional racing be used to describe what we have for paid racing in the UK, what we have for Teams now are little better than have bike will ride, as for NORA yes it is amateur but it is what those areas will support without paying out exorbitant money to the bike for hire guys, who are basically being bank rolled by so called promoters that seem to be happy propping up the sport and which simply cannot continue for much longer, as we all get older the crowds get less and less until something will have to be done along the lines of NORA.1 point
