sincerely hope Emil has not sustained a serious injury. he is a wonderful rider to watch and admire. Best wishes to Emil7 points

Whether people think Jack is a spoilt brat etc thats irrelevant imo.First thoughts should be with Emil and hoping he isn't too badly hurt.Fingers crossed for both riders that their injuries are just minor.5 points

Why is Jack Holder such a spoilt brat, didn't even acknowledge Emil when Emil beat him, could learn a lot from his brother3 points

Fair play to you if you have posted best wishes to Emil on other forums. And Thank you finally for pointing out that some not all Sheffield fans can be unpleasant. I do feel sometimes that generalise to much. We have some fans I am not going to deny it, and never have done who cannot behave themselves , but generally most are fine, trouble is that people always remember the bad ones rather than the better ones. As for Emil once again lets hope the injuries have not finished his season, he has been and hopefully in the future an excellent addition to our league.2 points

Don’t dare slag off the Sheffield fans … I saw first hand my friends 8 year old daughter subjected to vile abuse last seasons Not blaming Holder one bit for the crash …. But his reaction earlier in the meeting was childish and then to try and have a word with Emil after the crash is awful behaviour Praying that our season isn’t over2 points

I’d rather lose by 40 at Sheffield than have a rider injured. I don’t blame the track at all. Everyone knows the dirt builds up by the fence and Emil choose to ride there as he was determined to get a win for Ipswich. let’s hope he recovers quickly.2 points

at that speed the bike will just straighten up, better to keep the throttle open and try to ride it out2 points
-
It’s poor track prep and grading rather than the size. You’re going from the base to a solid wall of dirt. It’s dangerous and is what caused Emil to get ejected from his bike like that.2 points

But he doesn’t mind going to an away track with Simon lambert as a number one and Lewis Kerr replacing a heat leader. it shows complete contempt to his fellow promoters when Lynn come to town with a poor team and yet when it’s busters pocket which takes a hit he claims he can’t put out a sub standard team and calls it off. if you can’t play with the big boys then go down a league and be competitive there2 points

Just watched the replay thanks to Steve and bloody hell. Prayers for both riders. One of those events you really do not what to see. Fingers crossed for both and I know riders are hardy guys but that is off the scale.2 points

Jack certainly showed concern after the crash and went straight over to Emil. https://x.com/steveshovlar/status/1821640253033345229?s=612 points

Thoughts with our man Emil. Be it the track or that he clipped the fence before the corner, one thing is for certain, he is a true rider and wasn’t backing out of fighting for the win for Ipswich. So so so so gutted for ipswich, the season and how it will now end… but more importantly Emil. If we don’t win anything this season so be it… I’m still super proud of having two of the most dedicated and loyal riders. Emil and Doyle. (Ps also was a great meeting until then).2 points

Jack Holder …. What a spoilt brat ….. what with him his brother and Tai it’s has to be the most whingiest team in the league ….. Go find your dummy Jack2 points

Oxford's problem was they weren't ruthless enough earlier in the season, surprising when compared to the Spires. They could've dropped Atkins for a 6 point rider when Boughen & Killeen were still on 2.00 averages, had they done that, Boughen & Killeen would still be reserves & they'd have a team to rival Poole. This is where Poole stand head & shoulders above other clubs, they always want to put the strongest team out possible, even when winning they dropped Max Perry. Now I guess they'll use Jody Scott until Roynon returns.1 point

It's a dangerous track was narrow before the air fence even worse now.1 point

Hope Emil is okay. What a horrible nasty accident. Lack of track grading definitely the cause of this. The track curator down there needs to sort themselves out. As for Holder, personally I’ve never been a fan. Always been an arrogant little swine even back in the days of the premier league. Not at fault for that was just an unfortunate incident. If what someone has posted was true, and he went to give Emil a few choice words, then shame on him.1 point
-
Absolutely he wasn’t to blame …. But his actions all night was shocking1 point

I have wished him all the best on other forums … he is a Foxhall legend and has been the best rider in the league for 2 seasons and has been behind other top riders coming back over including Tai Sorry to have rattled your cage but most posts on here from non Ipswich fans will tell you what people think of him ….. got beat fair and square and refused to shake hands then wants to go and have words after Emils crash … sorry the bloke is a tool……. And yes it doesn’t shock me that some of your fans were shouting at Emil after the crash …. I witnessed first hand how some ( not all ) Sheffield supporters can be and it’s not pleasant ….. so please forgive me that I would rather any club then Sheffield win the league And if I have to say it again to appease you all the best to our star man and a breath of fresh air to. British speedway hope he is back this season1 point

The Irony of this coming from you.. How about wishing Emil the speediest of recoveries, terrible crash, hope you well soon. Infatuation with the Holders, and Tai for that matter, Sheffield as a whole stfu!!1 point

Great meeting which ended with the awful crash right where we were standing. Some Sheffield fans don’t change, shouting abuse at Emil, yes it was a minority but why anyone would think about doing that while lying on the track. Get well soon Emil!! Ipswich deserved to win but King was poor which cost them.1 point

I sincerely hope that whoever did the press release, stating that running such a meeting would have lacked credibility, was laughing their knackers off as they typed that bit out...1 point
-
Absolutely agree it looked like he missed Bomber legs by millimetres. Like I said in previous posts not the way you want to win a meeting.1 point
-
Maybe you should read all the posts not just react to some ! "I think jack the hot head was going over to Emil to give him some words, they way he was shaking his head and gesturing, Chris pushed jack away and told him to head back to pits"1 point
-
Best Wishes to Emil hope the injury is not to serious. Not the way you want to win a meeting, and Ipswich were definitely the better team, we were and have been far to inconsistent all season. I don't see us getting any further than the Play Off Semi's this season, and if Emil is missing then I don't see Ipswich either with no Emil and Doyley.1 point
-
Get well soon Emil. Horrific crash and Adam Ellis did very well to miss bomber.1 point

Redcar can't replace Bailey (I know he's temp quit, but should amount to the same thing??).1 point

You have to question whether some of the tracks are suitable for today’s bikes or should the sport in the UK take a look at what is safe and suitable in terms of machinery for the available tracks. It is clearly not one size fits all and bikes that ride well on the big tracks in Poland are probably not suitable for the technical UK tracks which then begs the question, is it time that the machinery was standardised so that it is rider skill and not power of a bike that makes a good rider.1 point

Any idea what's happening with Cook. Is everything ok? It said his partner was in Labour last week surely she still can't be? Hope everything has gone smoothly but seems strange1 point

Scunthorpe are very solid at home and Poole are currently carrying Sam Hagon and Tobias Thomsen who has never been there. Plus no Vinnie Foord and a guest to cover. We are certainly vunerable tomorrow and we could well come up a bit short. I shall buy the stream and enjoy the meeting regardless of score.1 point

I am in total shock. A few months ago Tony mailed to me here in Canada a bunch of SGP passes and information. Last year at Cardiff he gave me an "Officials" pass to do whatever I wanted to do. He was so kind to me. Actually had an email ready to send him to ask a question on a rule! RIP Tony.1 point

While all the riders are very talented, the Professionalism of the Poles sticks out regarding Mechanics and getting “ tuned in” as the meeting progresses.Helstrom- Bangs theory that he can pass everybody round the outside won’t happen when it comes to the “ crunch races”.1 point
