Too little too late from the promotion. You can’t be soft in professional sport, and, this is going to be a slaughter. Liebmann is just not good enough. She’d struggle to be a second string in the national league. Need a more experience Team Manager, too busy trying to be mates with everyone.5 points

The thing is if we don’t make the playoffs which doesn’t look likely then the season is done end of August. So it really doesn’t matter how good the racing and entertainment is if there is no meetings on it before September even begins. There needs to be a reset next season with huge gaps in home meetings and very few meetings in general.5 points

Glad you enjoyed the meeting, was a cracking one, enjoy your flat white and trip to Workington, congrats to Poole5 points

supersteady you need to stop your nasty posts on here or i can see a ban on your account .we are not football fans . have a bit of banter with other forum users , but dont use the foul words against other fans . its as if you are sitting in your room and looking at the screen waiting for a reply so you can spit the dummy out and hurl aduse at any given moment . if speedway bothers you that much ,give it up ! just one question , is your nappy full or are you happy living in $ h1t5 ? give it a rest , clown .4 points

Yes has been really sick all week - he should be congratulated on a great result.4 points

What an absolutely pulsating meeting to attend and witness speedway at it's best. The races involving Ben, Richard & Bomber were phenomenal. Heat 10 with Ben & Bomber throwing everything at each other to pass & re-pass was incredible to watch. That race was a classic! It's a great shame that it wasn't captured on film because even the controversial reffing decisions involving Richard & Ben were worth another watch to see if the ref was right or wrong. But where would we be without a bit of controversy to talk about?! Special shout out for Vinnie as he contributed a vital 5 points and the way he rode you wouldn't think he was a 2 point rider! Well done Vinnie. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and well done to Glasgow for playing their part in an incredible meeting. The Boyzzzz dug deep NID4 points

Depends on the league structure next season, but If its the same then it has to be two home and two away3 points

Definitely did, we couldn't continue on as before. Its about this time of year that promoters start to think about/discuss the set up for the following year, whatever will they come up with this time, a 35 point limit, even fewer meetings than this year, a multiplier of 2 for Premier riders dropping to CL teams? God forbid they carry out any form of market research to find out what their customers want or just as important, don't want.3 points

Tracks are better when less sun, more rain and generally damper. Gets in to the base and water table. The biggest single issue though was when total loss oil system ended. All of that Castrol R that used to be deposited from the engine was a brilliant bonding agent for the shale.2 points

Zmarzlik had to go, but jeez he wasn’t going to give up was he2 points

I wear those same glasses, I can’t remember anyone having the complete package for so long, many riders over the years had their thing that they were great at but I think zmarzlik has it all, he is the ultimate racer and a super quick thinker, even if someone try’s to shut the door on him it’s as if he see’s it coming and changes direction in a split second and his will to win it 100% and he looks an absolute natural on a bike2 points

Rose coloured glasses maybe, but... Bartek is the nearest I have seen to when I had the huge fortune to watch PC in his pomp when passing riders.. They both just seemed to have so much time and space to execute any manoeuvre regardless of how tight everything was on track, with regards to proximity to riders and fence... It all actually almost "slows down" as you see that level of rider pick his moment, and make his move.. With nothing the rider in front can do.. Bartek then saw space on turns one and two that the others made for him by simply riding the "safe line"... He didn't take that line!!!2 points

A bit disappointed that Trackrat hasn't been on congratulating Poole on the two away wins this weekend2 points

Poole are different class to anyone else in the league, give them the trophy now. Comets may still make the play-offs with Glasgow’s defeat last night, but whoever finishes 4th will be whipping boys alongside Scunthorpe. What a find Vinnie Ford is for a mid season replacement, his opposite number at No.7 is where we are massively lacking. Even NL guests until the end of the would be an improvement! Also better riders albeit under 16 on show in the youth Championship.2 points

He's really improved a lot this season , just a pity he left us , but maybe travelling up here every week was getting a bit much2 points

The score at Workington this afternoon shows what an effort it was by us last night to take the Pirates to a last heat decider2 points

Interesting that Celina, albeit in a 3 person race, wins heat 14 in a time quicker than Craig Cook in heat 12 and Richard Lawson in Heat 13.2 points

Still enjoy it but would enjoy it a hell of a lot more if more than 3 riders actually gave it a go.2 points

You could use aTac sub in every heat today and it wouldn’t have made any difference.2 points

Correct but doesn’t help the reserves can’t get close to an opposing rider. Which is going to be the comets down fall this season.2 points

You can’t be serious that last night was a gating tart performance from Lewi.Brilliant riding from him.2 points

Absolutely not, those are the parts I am most likely to read. [Least likely to read are the recycled club press releases]2 points

And this is the problem, I keep reading about all this great racing and then you say there was plenty of overtaking. It was terrible racing, boring, 2 decent races all night that lasted more than half a lap. the guy next to me was writing in his programme after 2 laps. It was good result for Leicester but if you think that was good racing then you have serious problems. As we were walking out down the path there was a family behind us sounds like they come for first time and they were saying it was ok but not sure they would come back.2 points

But it is unfortunate that it wasn't filmed because you wouldn't see a better meeting anywhere than what was served up last night . To be honest I was pleasantly surprised we took it to a last heat decider because going to the track I feared the worst for us , but we battled well . Yes the changes haven't improved us any , and I don't think we will make the play offs now , but we have a track which probably produces the most exciting racing in the country , that will do for me . And I dont see how anyone can stop that Pirates side winning everything this season and credit to them , they seem to get their team building spot on every winter .2 points

James Pearson was really struggling tonight he was being sick after every ride guess that’s why he never got more2 points

What happened to 'First Bend' videos? They used to film all the meetings and sell the DVDs. And what was that drone all about?? They sent it up into the sky and then it vanished never to be seen again. The social media side of the promotion is pretty poor as well which is highlighted by the Tigers website which is often neglected by whoever is meant to be running it.2 points

Speedway was the winner tonight , Harris and Ben Cook just wow . Why BSN chose to go 30 miles up the road for a basement battle is beyond me2 points

Clearly a different planet, because I was on one where Leicester rode against Belle Vue with no overtaking after bend 3 lap1 until heat 11 when Kurtz passed Douglas. Only other noteworthy pass was ht 13 when Douglas created a gap that let Fricke past Kurtz. Racing was pisspoor. End of.1 point

I see the will to win in zmarzlik like no other rider, he is 100% no matter if GP or challenge meeting and I guess it must demoralise the opposition somewhat how he is on it all the time and he looks like he enjoys doing it too1 point

I'm going Monday, and already looking forward to it, King's Lynn certainly have a very good chance, yes Sheffield are strong, it's only opinions on they are better than Ipswich, and for me, they are not, but we will see what happens in September to solve that argument. But this meeting could be close, Lawson is full of confidence and for me is better round Lynn than both Holder's and on last night i would take Iversen over Pickering all day long. Lynn are much stronger at reserve as well, so this should be good. Looking forward to my Speedway fix at Lynn on Monday night.1 point
