For someone whose team closed down after buying the league and now is very fortunate to now have northside your comments are truly concieted and ignorant, you're constantly slagging Plymouth off,sniping at Glasgow and Poole, envious obviously and when I introduced myself to you at Plymouth the first thing you said was it's only banter to which I replied no problem and offered to buy you a drink, you're obviously happy to give it the big one on here and yes you won cookie maxed out and troy has guested for us twice so I suggest get back in your box until you can come up with some decent banter.

The reality and the shame of this forum is sooner or later clubs will close down and so will speedway. The sooner people on this forum realise that they could build the sport up (admittedly only a tiny bit) but every little helps.

A few clubs over the past couple of seasons have asked riders not to compete in Nora and a few riders have told the clubs to poke it (not saying any of the competitors that took place in the latest meeting were in that situation), there have also been clubs who were fully behind their riders getting extra laps in and keeping sharp. I think the backlash against the BSPL/SCB would be far too large if they were to try and impose sanctions on any rider competing under another banner. IOW in association with NORA are trying something innovative and different which is scary to the established order, it is also very much a work in progress and often a product that works better on the big open spaces of the smallbrook circuit than may suit other mainland venues.

Unfortunately when the grass track production line dried up, so did a lot of the talent. If you look at the amount of star quality riders who came from Grass Track back in the 80s and 90s the list goes on and on. Now we are in the situation where if you take away the British GP riders, Brennan Is the only young up and coming rider who looks like he might make the grade in the top flight league in Poland and the GPs. We keep being told we have a great prospects coming up through the youth scene yes Tom Brennan came through that system and young Flint has done well to qualify for SGP2, but he's still only a rising star in the top league, when he should be kicking on by now! The days of Doncaster, Cross, Tatum, Wigg, Havlock, Screen etc have long gone!

Oxford's riding order confuses me. They've put Kemp at 2, obviously realising he'd struggle at 3, but why not give Kerr a go there before dropping him? I also would have out Janowski at 5 & told him to prove he's still a world class rider. Harris would be much more effective at 3 or 4 imo.

Instead of having a dig at Rew, Fans should be wishing the best for him as well as Tate. Horrible accidents happen in our sport and tonight was one of those occasions. Rew's mental state can't be good tonight and Tate's physical state isn't good period so just keep both riders in your thoughts.

Yes, he's being talked about in a big way. I seem to remember a local lad to you winning the youth 125cc world championship twice!! "Multi British Youth Grass Track Champion Kyle Bickley retained his World 125cc crown after scoring a 15-point maximum in the Czech Republic on Saturday following winning the same event last year in Germany." but unfortunately as soon as he progressed from the conference league, "where he was very good" to the 2nd division he struggled big time and eventually retired at a very early age. So I would say being a good youth rider is not a guarantee of turning out world class, but I hope the young English rider William Cairns is as good as they say, because we do need another superstar to be coming through .

I can assure you there were hailstones at about 5pm. I entered the stadium at 5.43 and the track was waterlogged. The rain then eased for around 10-minutes before it started to rain again quite steadily. The referee, both team managers & both team captains agreed that the track was to waterlogged to contemplate trying to race. That decision was taken at approximately 6.40 with the gates still closed, and to the best of my knowledge, no tickets sold. When I left the stadium just after 7.10 the rain had eased, and by the time I got to the hospital roundabout, you could see there hadn't been so much rain there. I stopped posting on this site a long time ago, due to the nonsense that the majority of people post on here, without really knowing the facts. But I took the decision to post this time so as to let people know there could be a problem, but I wasted my time by some, as I was evidently at Mildenhall. What a stupid comment to make.

I would dare to gamble that Mussyslack considers he's worth more than he's being paid at KL and has spotted opportunities to exploit that?? As for him being unhappy with "the way the club is being run" frankly its sod all to do with him PROVIDED he's being given a safe environment in which to ply his trade and also that he's being paid on time as per contract?? (there are lots of employees out there that don't like the way in which their employers run the business.......... but in the vast majority of cases they don't simply walk out??). It's apparent that there's some ***t stirring going on at Sheffield and I said on Saturday when Woffinden had an off that Mussyslack would be back there in a flash (with of course a financial carrot being dangled in front of him). Very much suspect this is all about money with "the way the club is being run" being nothing other than a smokescreen most likely being promulgated by those dangling the carrot .............. but of course KL was ok when he was given the chop by Sheffield and had nowhere to go!

We can’t ride the place it’s as simple as that. We battered you by 18 at Foxhall and still only crept over the line due to a masterclass from Doyle and Emil in 15 at your place. TTT is right, if we want to win the title this year we have to avoid Belle Vue in the semi and then hope Sheffield knock you out. Mind you, we have a little break in fixtures shortly and we badly need it. It’s hard enough going to the NSS for us with a full fully fit team, but a team carrying injuries this was always likely to happen. We badly need a breather.

You only have to look at the British Youth Championship competitors from 10 to 15 years ago to see how poor the youth development has been in this country. Some people look to Lambert, Bewley & DJ Woffy riding in the GP's and will claim it to be a success. I wonder if there has ever been any analysis done as to why 90% of these competitors chose to give Speedway up after having gone to all the trouble of acquiring the setup to compete... let alone having the gonads to swing their leg over a motorbike with no brakes! Especially in a country whose leagues rely so very heavily on foreign and doubling up riders.

I certainly don't understand why the promoters teat the koc / bsn the way they do. They should be going all out to convince fans to part with their money the same as they do for league meetings!

If they want to keep Tate long term they will have to move up in next couple of seasons imo.

We can agree that the SCB are inconsistent in how rulings are dealt with but I disagree about Kurtz looking bad. He never had to say he wouldn’t ride in the UK as aside from his aborted attempt at a comeback and his chase for individual glory (as riders have done for decades), he hasn’t rode anywhere until fit this weekend.

Two things, I was there and was disgusted by his attitude and arrogance aimed at the supporters with his comments. Secondly yes I support the Panthers and a former Cudas fan, Buster has created this attitude aimed at him himself, whether they are conspiracy or not but he has clearly shown he supported AEPG and not the club he owns. Agree it would be nice to see all these clubs back but when you have a KL supporter on Facebook laughing at Peterborough not having speedway but she has at KL people will feel miffed about it.

I wasn't there so I CAN'T comment on the EXACT wording of what Buster said ............. however I do know from career experience that people have a tendency to embelish in order to support their own grievances! Secondly .... it's pretty obvious from his continuous "anti-Buster"/consiparcy theories that TTT is a small minded individual with a very large axe to grind and unfortunately that you support him in all he says........... irrelevant of whether its factual or not? My own view is rather than continuously posting their vitriol on this forum those doing so would be better engaged in throwing their weight behind the consortium trying to get Panthers back on track .............. which btw is something that we would ALL like to see (just the same as we would with Wolves, Cov, Lakeside and Swindon) ????????

Another foreigner pushing an english rider out wonder what UKVI may have to say about it ?, these visas were supposedly issued if you cannot fill a vacancy, is it any wonder that UK Speedway is in such a mess. I can understand using heat leaders as the UK does not have sufficient riders of that calibre but here we are using foreigners when their are english riders of similar calibre.

Just seen the video of the heat in question, Luke riding like you’d expect a rider in front to ride. Defending his position from a rider behind fair and square. As for fredriksson well that was just plain dirty. The look over the shoulder knowing exactly what he was doing, I’m all for hard racing but come on.

Eh? He was a SPEEDWAY rider. Committed s crime and was released on license. Was back riding SPEEDWAY at Scunthorpe in amateur meetings. How is that not relevant to a SPEEDWAY discussion?
